I have a pretty good FICO. Last week I received a notice that there was a derogatory report in my credit. It was a collection for over $3k. For I do not know what? I never received a notice or anything. It impacted my FICO 41 pts. Now I have write a letter of intent to produce the note. Then I will *** them in small claims court. I Value my good credit and these folks have denied me due process without ever contacting me.

This company has reached out to me and provided information about myself including only information that is public record, in order to ensure I am not being scammed I have requested information such as the agreement between my debtor and sequoia transferring my debt which they were unable to provide, then I was rudely hung up on. After, I have asked for receipts for payment that I have made, which they could not provide, as well as statements showing the total amount I owe has gone down. They also did not provide this information. They have attempted on several occasions to collect debt from me more than double the original amount I have ever owed to a company and threatened to take my vehicle when I asked for information such as the business license number to verify this business or the lawyers phone number and bar license number that he kept saying has the authority to take my vehicle. I reached out to my original debtor who has said I have no debt owed with them at this time, they have not sold my debt to this company, as well as have no business with this company. Every time I have asked for information as small as a receipt for payment I have made I am told this information is not for me to have, only they need this. I am hung up on, or told I will be called back which I am NOT. I have had no professional interaction with anybody within this company and will be filing a police report because I truly believe I am being harassed and scammed based off of my public information.

awful representatives, I was hung up on twice and put on hold for 5 times in one call before being hung up on which was not the first incident of being hung up on, you ask one basic question and they put you on hold instantly. They seem to not want to receive payment. They also threatened to hurt my credit despite not billing the proper bureaus that they were supposed to. overall shady practices. their online make a payment website has no way of confirming your outstanding balance or how much is due...

Sequoia Concepts is duplicitous. This company took a bill that I was not on and added my name, The bill was my husband's medical bill from an emergency room visit. I was not there thus I did not sign any paperwork and was not involved at all. I have no responsibility for his personal debt. This company is trying to ruin my credit rating by listing the debt on my credit at the 3 credit reporting companies. They are fraudulently saying it was a joint account. The bill was only in my husband's name, not mine. My husband and I do not even share a last name. I am taking them to court.
