I utilized a moving company called National Moving Services to have my belongings moved from ********, ** to *********, ** in February of 2022. National Moving Services then utilized Elk *********************************************** as a third party freight to have our belongings picked up and moved for us. Upon delivery our couch, ********** king *** frame, one ********** king *** spring, full size *** frame and all of my kitchen items were missing. On the day our items were delivered I contacted ***** and she claimed to have our belongings in the their warehouse located in *********, ** and said that our items would be delivered in about a week. I have not been able to contact anyone at the company since but have filed police reports in both states hoping this would push the company to deliver our remaining belongings. My attorney also sent a letter demanding our belongings be delivered to us within a specific time frame however the address associated with the contract we signed seemed to be faulty. I contacted National Moving Services to fill them in on what happened and insisted they no longer use Elk *********************************************** as this company has continued to rob families of their money and belongings but that information did not seem to go past the customer representatives I would speak to. Elk *********************************************** responded to a call from Parkville PD and claimed my belongings were still in there possession but had no ETA for delivery and did not know when they would. That was over a year ago and I have still not been able to contact anyone. According to Yelp this company is still operating and robbing other families as well. I would like them to finish the job they were paid to do. If they can not finish the job I want to be reimbursed for the full amount I paid to have this service performed. $6,231.00 What they did and are doing is violating and they need to be stopped. My family did not deserve this nor does anyone else.
