Firstly, NVA Newport Hills this company REGISTERED TRADE NAMES: ANIMAL HOSPITAL OF NEWPORT. There wasn't a visible display of the business license within the premises. This is a neighborhood animal hospital, I used to trust them very much and only 5 mins far away from my home, so the previous vaccines and physical examinations were in this hospital. Given that experience, when my dog exhibited symptoms of vomiting recently, I chose the hospital again. That has led to very serious consequences. The lack of accountability resulted in my dog experiencing nosebleeds. I have repeatedly requested access to the camera record to understand the reasons behind the extended 2.5-hour stay after the examination, but my requests have been unanswered. Furthermore, the misdiagnosis and administration of incorrect gastric motility drugs have resulted in my dog vomiting blood. This mistake, coupled with the inexperienced staff, has caused significant harm to my dog. Then I went to another city, but it was a very big hospital. My dog was treated, but due to misdiagnosis and delay in this hospital: ********************************, my dog had more serious problems and more expensive medical bills. She had vomiting and was seen at ********************************. At that time she had lab work that showed mildly elevated AP, marked hyponatremia and hypochloremia, and hypokalemia. I read notes by another hospital, but the Newport hills hospital totally ignore that and put my dog in life danger. I have also seen a lot of other negative comments on yelp. Their unprofessionalism and dishonesty cause too much trouble to customers. Looking for ******************************** pay for the medical bill due to their inexperienced. $975.72, $2387.5, $595.74, total$3958.96.

The visit to this location was awful ; I was treated differently because I had a budget and couldnt spend thousands of dollars on care . I waited 5 hours for an update on my cat and got nothing. There was no communication, no apology no nothing and I truly feel this was all because they knew they were not going to get a lot of extra money from me.

I brought my dog in on 6/20/2023 in the morning as he was having difficulty walking. He had been limping on his right leg and then preceded to not want to walk at all. The animal hospital examined him and took xrays. He stayed approximately 2 hours there, they released him to me and diagnosed him with having a acl tear and needing surgery. They provided me with a list of surgeons. The total bill for the visit was $972.84. I scheduled the surgery with *********** Veterinary *************** with ***************************. On 6/23/2023, I took ****** to drop him off for surgery, but instead of dropping him off, I stayed and the doctor walked me through the procedure. Explaining everything that would happen and that he wanted to make sure surgery was actually needed. Since an xray of the right leg was the only thing completed and ****** was basically not walking, he needed to take additional xrays. Both the xray that the ************************* sent over and the xrays taken by ***** showed that ****** did not have a acl tear and actually had no issues with his bones or ligament's at all. ****************** kept ****** for a few hours as he was sedated for the xrays as well as the exam and provided him with a cortisone shot which he indicated may help him if ****** had pulled something, like a muscle. He charged for the entire exam, stay, several xrays and shot a total of $355.00. I feel that the *************** did not know what they were doing, sent me to a surgeon (who btw taught me how to tell if it was an acl tear, which I could tell after a 20 minute teaching session, that it wasn't) overcharged me for something they did not even diagnose correctly. I feel they at least owe me the cost to see the surgeon of $355, if not more. Attached you will see the difference in charges between one and the other. Btw, ****** is now doing better as ****************** had indicated he would by Monday.

My dog ****** was given Cerenia, an anti-nausea medication, on 4/27/23 without being tested for toxins first. I believe this hastened his death on 4/28/23 from rodenticide poisoning. I was assured the night of 4/27/23 that he was suffering from pancreatitis & allowed to take him home. I questioned whether he could've been poisoned, had an **** gland rupture or swallowed something that obstructed his system, but was told he wasn't exhibiting signs or symptoms of those types of issues.I would like a refund for the services I paid for on 4/27/23 & the organization of NVA to institute policy prohibiting the use of Cerenia without screening for toxins first.Thank you.For reference: *****************************************************************
