My family and I are displaced from our home while we have some house repairs done from damage from the winter 2022 storms. We were placed in a Home2Suites by ****** in ******* , ** on 8/10/2023. We will be displaced for up to 3 months. We were waiting for a house we had booked to become available in a week.We each had medium sized ********** moving boxes with us. We were a family of six renting 4 rooms.We checked in, neatly stacked our boxes with our belongings that we would need during the full 3 month period we would be away from our home.The next morning I got a call from the booking agent who had made our hotel arrangements stating that management wanted us to leave immediately. They were accusing us of starting a ***** infestation on our floor.I do not nor have a ever had roaches. This was insulting. They had not inspected our rooms. This was a baseless accusation. They said that other guests had complained of roaches and they had evacuated our entire floor. This was a lie also. I have seen and heard other guests on our floor.I had also asked the housekeeper in Spanish if there were cockroaches in the other rooms and she said no.Not at anytime before we left had anyone inspected or entered any of our rooms except one front desk person, to help me with a cook top that wasn't working.I closed the bathroom door while she was there, out of politeness because the cat had just used his liter box.The manager, ******, assistant manager **** or *****, and the regional district manager *************************** all were rude, as well as two of the staff members. Their treatment reduced our family to tears.We asked them to put in writing why they asked us to leave. They refused. I asked **** and ****** for their last names. They refused.We have photo and video proof of the lies. My booking agent is also a witness that this happened.This experience of injustice was so traumatizing. Something needs to be done. P!ease help.
