I requested a in-home sleep study after having an initial consult with California Center for Sleep Disorders. Even though I was told that I would be sent the sleep study right away, it took over a month. Once I sent it back completed, I almost immediately started receiving correspondence (in emails, texts and calls) asking me to pay a bill. I never received the results of my test. I called the provided number and the women who answered said she had already sent the results, via email, and when I told her I hadn't received them she said she would send them again, after asking to confirm my email address. She never did. Despite numerous calls, and messages left, I have never gotten a hold of a person since then. I also still have not received any results. I'm happy to pay my bill, and I have told them this every time I call, once I receive my results. I am trying to confirm an apnea diagnosis and start treatment. With the dangers of having sleep apnea it is crucial that I get a diagnosis so I can start appropriate treatment. The system at California Center for Sleep Disorders has made this impossible, and the way they run their business is dangerous to their clients. There must be some way for clients to reach them. This is impossible when they only provide one way of getting a hold of them (a telephone number) that is never answered or responded to.Initial Complaint

I was seen for a medically necessary device that is life-altering. I gave them my new *************** twice and they sent my referral to Blue Shield instead, a carrier I am not covered by. They never followed up with the carrier and insisted Aetna was contacted. I was left in limbo for over a month. Turns out Aetna was never notified and now I am starting from square one. They are making me have yet another appointment and pay another copay even though I was seen and paid a month ago. This is the second time they've tried to have me pay to correct their mistake. They don't answer their phones, are impossible to reach, and their staff is highly incompetent. I believe they are a scam forcing patients to come back multiple times so they can get the most money possible from the patient and insurance carrier. This is not a one-off. They have a 2 star rating on Yelp and have a history of not putting their patients first.
