I was called by the vet after my son took our 14yr old Chihuahua to VCA Albany. She shred the treatment plan, listed the procedures and price and asked for my approval. I emailed my approval in response and texted my son to tell the vet that I approved as well. I asked that they text me the bill as they usually do and I remitted the payment that evening. I recieved a call the next day saying they were adding an additional charge for something that was the same as what she had covered. I told them that I had made the payment and that it was not covered in the treatment plan. I told them I was at work and I would call back and the person hung up in my face.Today I they called again and I told them I was going into a classroom ( I'm an adminstrator at a high school) They sais they needed payment and I repeated that I was at work. He said that his manager (*********) wanted to talk to me and to hold on and I said I needed to go and hung up. He called back over 5 times and I stepped out of my job to answer and he put her on the phone anyway. She got on and started talking to me like she was a bill collector. I asked her to call back after 6 because I has a meeting and she said they would be closed. Then she kept saying "you need to pay, you need to pay". I told her I was at work and felt like I was being harrassed. I told her it was my job at risk and she said "then you need to pay your bills!" in a loud voice. I asked her who she was yelling at and she said, "you, who don't pay your bills." I said I felt harrassed and she proceeded to yell "we are going to report you to collections!" (I don't do collections, my credit is nice) I said'youre harrassing my and I dont' know who you do this to but don't do it to me or I don't want to have to come up there, I'm at work" She yelled "I wish you would so you can pay your bill" , then she hung up in my face. It has only been 4 days since I paid and this happened. The dates and bills are attached.
