I have the same complaint as the previous complaint dated July 2024. I paid $17,000 to get my Westgate timeshare canceled it has been 5 years I have had very little interaction with the company. I have to call them constantly asking for updates. They are not proactive with reaching out to me. Now I'm being told that I have to pay 400 more dollars for the law firm to send a second demand letter. The timeshare has not responded to the first demand letter. I was also told that if the timeshare goes into foreclosure they will help me scrub my credit. That is erroneous because my credit score went from 800 down to 628 and they have not been able to help me get the negative reporting from Westgate off of my credit report. I am suffering the consequences by having to pay higher interest rates, being denied for new credit cards/loans, and I just had my **** of America credit card canceled even though the balance was zero because they said I have negative reporting on my credit report.

      Hello *******,

We are sorry you are frustrated. I checked our database and the team has talked to you as recently as yesterday and told you that you do not have to pay the $400 and also that your case is active. It can take time to get the developers to release clients and that unfortunately is something speed up. We have to follow protocol and the lawyers must proceed within the law. I will have the team reach out again to you.

I hired timeshare compliance 6k to get me out of my contract. Along with an additional $750 for an attorney fee. They also convinced me to hire a credit company if I stop making payments to protect my credit. 6 months later my timeshare went into foreclosure and appeared on my finances credit. I figured since we we paid good money for a credit company, they would handle it. It never came off and when I reached out to them months later (seeing they were not giving me quarterly updates as promised) they didnt even know that my account had defaulted. Now here I am 3 years later, after been strung along by excuses, the law office has contacted me saying my account was taken care of because my account defaulted. Claiming I have no more financial obligations and I was out of my timeshare which is not the case. Westgate is still holding me responsible for the financials of my timeshare. Timeshare compliance told me that if they were unsuccessful they would refund me. And seeing Seeing they only sent out two letters in 3 years, and I paid $6,750, I would like to see those billable hours and at least have the majority of my money refunded to me so I can for real get out of timeshare by offering a deed back with a lump sum. Which is basically what the law office is saying they did but the letter from westgate is not stating that information. I am done dealing with these scam artists. I do not want to work with them anymore. This is my second time reaching out on bbb. If this does not happen through the help of bbb, I will have to resort to different agencies.

On May 2nd 2021 we signed up to have our Timeshare "taken care of". We paid more than ten thousand dollars with the promise that they were about to send hundreds of other complaints and we would be part of that induction - which would speed things along. No promises but said most take about two years. They stated that the credit repair services would remove the loans from our credit, that it was illegal the way they report them and it is easy for them(with the knowledge they have). We were told that within 2-3 years we would not longer have any owed debt to ******* and we would be able to stop paying for this because we were baited by them - again siting their experience and track record. I have been patient, I have reached out every few months for years and now am getting no updates from them. The timehsare is still showing on my credit as delinquent and Timeshare Compliance has literally done nothing they said they would, not one thing. As far as I can tell the only people that get anything accomplished submit this to you first and then suddenly the process is over. I have no faith and want my money back. It has been over three years and nothing has changed. You are worse than the timeshare themself because at least I had something I could have used. I was told not to use it and not to talk to ******* ever about a settlement. I heard the ads on the radio, they were terrific in the beginning but are mostly non responsive at this point. Please help me get my money back. I could have sold the timeshare by now and used the money I paid you to get out of these in a serious way.

Hi *******! I just sent you an email and I will give you a call. We are still working on your case and most developers are slow to answer and even longer to take action but our lawyers and we are relentless and get the job done. We would never recommend you selling your timeshare. It's not a wise decision and nearly impossible to do - this is why you see them for sale on **** for $1. We apologize for the lack of communication. I will get in touch now and please check your emails.

2019 I paid Timeshare compliance ****** for their timeshare exit service due to the fact that they stated it would take one year to be exited and that my case was a common case and guaranteed their service. It's 2024 and still they have done no timeshare exit and it's the same story about a letter they sent back in 2019 to the timeshare and that they have not responded to the lawyer. Today July 2024 we received an email from the lawyer that they want an additional 400 dollars to extend their service another 2 years again with another letter to the timeshare. I don't know what to do I feel I was scammed and still to this day still getting scammed to pay more money. I still have the receipt of the ****** and the date when we payed them and have the email stating they want more money and I have to pay within 30 days. I would like my money back for no services rendered from timeshare compliance. The fact that they want more money on top of what I already paid is outrageous. I already asked for refund and they told me there was no refund.

      ******,

We are so sorry for the lack of updates to you. We have been working on your case and your lawyer has also been working on the case. However, developers take their time delaying as much as possible and the lawyer must take the appropriate legal steps. It is a process. I have asked our new client director ****, to contact you asap.

This company charged us $7,000 to get us out of a timeshare and has not done anything nor have they replied to our emails. Our credit has taken a severe hit over the past four years since signing on with this company and we cannot make any purchases dur to lack of action on their part. This is looking to be more of a scam since our credit report states the account will be wiped clean on it own as of August 2027. So we paid $7,000 to have this alleged company full of attorneys ignore us for the past 3 1/2 years, while we watch our credit take a hit and have each month marked as late for this account. We have no other issues with our credit and listened to a fast talking salesman con us into signing on with this company to have them do nothing at all. We are not informed on any details and instructed to just sit and wait. We would like this company to be exposed for what they did to us and our money returned so we can make so sort of deal with the lender to get ourselves out of this situation. We cannot make any purchases or refinance with this currently on our credit report. Now the amount due to the Timeshare company as of today June 24, 2024, is $16,705.

This company claimed to fight for getting me out of a timeshare. they presented their services as my way of removing the timeshare from my possession without foreclosure. None of this happened and I have gone through foreclosure as I would have if they had not been hired. their services did nothing for my situation and I essentially wasted thousands of dollars by hiring them, and Im in the same position I was prior to hiring them.

I met with a TSC representative on 09.29.2021, in which time, I was convinced to enter into an agreement to assist me with getting out of my timeshare contract with Wyndham. The services were for $18k plus interest (***** APR) and I made a down pymt of $6k. The remainder was financed at $599 per month and has been paid in full for over a year now. I also had to pay the attorneys $750. I was promised they had 99% return rate of getting me out of my contract. I was also referred to a credit repair/monitoring company that would monitor my credit and block any negative marks against my credit with *******. That was an additional expense incurred but my credit is still negatively affected by *******. The funds I paid to TSC ($22k+), I could've settled on my own with ******* and my credit would no longer be impacted. I was promised ongoing updates monthly, which never happened. I would typically have to reach out to the representative that signed me up initially to get TSC to do their job and call me back. I have been continuously bounced around with promises that the company would follow through with their services only to then never get a response or the response is a platitude of a promise to respond like this one: "Your case is being managed and they're waiting for a release response from *******. If you receive any paperwork from *******, please forward us a copy." The attorneys sent a Demand letter to ******* in Jan 2023 but no follow up has been made by the attorneys that I'm aware of. The waiting game continues but there was no hesitation in collecting my money for the service. I have no confidence the initial statement given will lead to actual fruition of the agreed terms. I just need my funds returned since I may still have the option to cancel with ******* directly and be free and clear of this painful experience.

Over two years ago, and I waited two years because from the beginning we were advised by this company that it was likely an 18-month to 2-year process. I paid a very high fee for legal representation to exit my timeshare with assurances by this company that my case would be "winnable" based on the timeshare company's sales practices. Only after I emailed this company in September 2023, and again in October 2023 (18 months after this process began) requesting a progress report, I was finally advised that a demand letter had been sent to the timeshare company on *************** April 2024, I requested an update and was advised "At this time ****** has not sent any documents in reference to the release of your contract. The last item we received from Hilton was a letter indicating that at this account is not eligible for release at this time. Should we receive any further information, well advise you immediately." Now I really am feeling scammed, by both Timeshare Compliance and the Carlsbad Law Firm that handles the legal work for them. It's been over two years of almost no communication and absolutely no progress.

      *****,

The lack of communication is unacceptable on our end and we have made changed in the ****** services department to better our communication. Please contact new client services manager **** at *************. We are actively working on your case. Getting out of a contract takes time and we get some clients out within a year and others take much longer depending on the developer. We do as much as we can as well as the lawyers to legally follow all procedures to get you resolution. However, developers use many different tactics to prolong exits because a large part of their profits are the monthly/annual fees from timeshare owners. we know how they work and do get our clients out of their timeshares. Please let us know if there is anything else we can clarify for you.

I reached out to this company back in 2020 just like everyone elses complaints was promised that I would be out no later than 18 months gave me the whole speech about never losing a case and only taking special cases that they know they can win me to stop paying my timeshare Though I was truly in a financial bind, I would have found a way credit has been extremely poor ever since Ive paid this company, half of the balance that was owed on my timeshare. I could have actually paid my timeshare and had better results had I known they would not deliver , they are the contract but not just me but everyone in these complaints.I cant even attempt to call Bluegreen due to the contract. Also, just found out Bluegreen is being sold to Hilton. Not sure if thats a conflict either due to contract. There was a time when ********* allegedly were offering exit plans and when I asked tsc about this initially was told they were aware, when I followed up was told the opposite. Why are you guys not doing your research? I asked them for a refund (which I feel I am due) they refused. So they can breach their contract and steal money from us. Considering reporting them on ****************************** and every page alike so that no one else is tricked like me and many others!

Yet, I'm out thousands of dollars for nothing."So, my husband and I started this process April 2022. It is now mid February 2024 and soon will be a full two years.
