**** account #***** - I had an urgent care visit at **** on 06/07/22. I have no insurance coverage. I paid $148.40 at desk for the 06/07/22 office visit and Covid test. I had a nasty cold with wheezing from my asthma, it wasn't Covid. I had to return to Hoag Urgent Care 10 days later on 06/17/22, as I was still seriously ill and hadn't received the correct treatment initially. I paid $142.80 at the desk for the 06/17/22 visit. Total paid was $291.20 with an alleged 30% discount for cash. I believed I had PAID IN FULL. On Friday 07/22/22, I received an invoice for $111.57 from **** for my 06/07/22 visit. The invoice had an office visit of $125.00 minus pymt of $9.40 and adj of $4.03. The Covid test wasn't on the invoice. ***** at **** billing was called on 07/22/22 and she stated the invoice for $111.57 was incorrect. ***** stated **** owed me a refund of $125.90 but it takes 30 to 40+ DAYS to process (this is incorrect). I requested a complete ledger showing all charges, payments, and credits be mailed to me. ***** stated she would.On Tuesday 07/26/22, **** billing office was called again. Spoke to ***** initially who stated the complete ledger had been mailed already. Requested to speak to supervisor and ***** B took over the call. ************** stated the complete ledger hadn't been mailed yet (***** LIED???). ************** also stated I had a credit of $125.90 said the refund to my debit card would take 3 to 5 business days (***** had provided misinformation). ************** stated she didn't know how much the 06/17/22 visit would total until it's "coded" and stated I may owe more !!!At this point I have NO idea how much was charged, what discounts were applied, how my payments were applied and how much the charges are for my second office visit. I want the situation resolved. I need a complete ledger and my account audited. IF I owe more than $291.20, I want to know WHY. This smells like FRAUD and I've informed my bank of same.
