  Needed the shark bites replaced and new pipes put in with crimps under hot water tank. They came out and replaced pipes that we didn't ask them to , two pipes in total. And charged us $700 They said they had two use two people , They still would not come out and fix the problem that we called them out to fix.We were set up on a payment plan. I used a debit card and paid $500 over the phone back in October/November ****************************** a bill for $760 As of March 2nd 2024 Not only did they overcharge us, refuse to fix the original problem, they are not showing us that we paid $500

  On 04/17/2024, I contacted *************************** regarding the above referenced complaint.  I told her that I had reconcilled my bank and do not see where they made a $500.00 payment.  I told her that if she could bring in a receipt or bank statement to show me where they paid I would be glad to give them credit.  When talking to our technicians that went to the job.  The first call that came in was on Aug 10, 2023 the line from pump house is leaking no water to the house and they needed a wye to cold water.   When our technician got there they had let their pipes freeze and break there was no insulation or preparation for the winter.  Ever where the hot water heater was the pipes and a supply line were froze. We replaced everything they needed to have water.  The second call was on 8/14/2023.  They called stating no water, we went back up there, which 45.8 miles round trip, the pipe had refroze.  She told me her daughter is in ****** working and she would get back to us when her daughter come home.  I told her I would like to resolve this problem a.s.a.p.

  I am rejecting this response because:

  I had my home vandalized and squatters were living in a RV out back, they cut into my hot water tank and hooked it up to their RV. I cut this out and tried to reattach everything my self. I used flexible hoses, and hoses that were to long attached with shark bites because I couldn't figure out how to use the crimps. I called them out in August to please replace the work I had done because the shark bites were leaking and I didn't like how I did it. I wouldn't be able to keep them from freezing in winter because they were hanging low to the ground. And all over the place. They were not frozen this was summer time. When heard plumbing came out they pushed in the shark bites to help them from leaking but didn't replace them. They replaced a piece from the cold water inlet from under the ground and left. That quickly blew off and I had no water that day. A new person came out the next day and I showed him the mess and shark bites I wanted replaced. He said no you need the cold water line replaced on your hot water tank. I said no I don't. He said I do what I want to do. He replaced that and fixed the cold water inlet from ground and left, he never fixed the shark bites and replaced the pipes I had asked. The next day the hot water line next to the cold water line on the hot water tank blew off. He must have banged up against it and I decided to go to ace and fix this myself. I called the lady at Heards Plumbing and all she would say is she needed paid. I told her they didn't even fix what I needed. She placed me on a repayment plan and my daughter paid $500. I went in to speak to her when I could and she said she would not do any work at my place until paid and she had she had no record of the $500 of payment. She then said if she wasn't paid she would *** me and place a lien on my property. I still need the shark bites replaced and so far I have been charged over $700 for work I never asked them to do. Unfortunately they are the main plumbers in ******* and I have no where else to go for help.

  I did some checking and found the receipt that she provided to the BBB not to us and found her payment. I credited her account along with the correct finance charges which I told her I would do if she provided me a receipt. I called her today and left a message with the correct balance that is still due. I also have details on what our men did on the job site. Thank you in this matter.
