This issue is regarding my mother-in-law's experience with the business for her dry cleaning service. Her luxury wool coat was damaged due to the lack of attention to detail and care from the business owner, and they are not taking any ownership of the damage caused by them. On 1/23/2024, a luxury wool coat worth $300 was turned in for a regular dry cleaning service.1/26/2024: My mother-in-law, ******, visited the business to pay for the service and to get the coat back, but some of the dirty spots were still left on the sleeves and other parts. The owner offered to remove the dirty spots for free. 1/31/2024: ****** paid $17.97 (see the attached) and got the coat back. She tried the coat on at home and realized that it was shrunk, lost its original shape and form, and the integrity of the fabric has been damaged where it no longer has the original texture and coloring. 2/2/2024: Went back to the business to complaint but the owner was not available. 2/8/2024: Went back to the business and complained to the owner, but there were no ownership of the damage, but rather, accused of ****** for false accusation and attempt of a fraud. The owner claimed that wool coats get shrunk easily if it's dry cleaned, which is a false statement according to other dry cleaning professionals. Finally, they denied her request for refund but offered to return the coat into its original size.2/15/2024: The size remained the same and the coat is now showing multiple small punctures as part of their attempt for bring the coat back to its original size. The owner again accused of ****** for a false claim. They even used offensive language and showed some aggression to ****** during the complaint. I demand the business to provide a replacement of the coat or reimbursement of $300 as well as a refund for $17.97 ****** paid for the dry cleaning service.
