Our organization received an email solicitation for this company. I reviewed their website and thought they sounded interesting and reached out for further information. I received emailed from two employees, which is fine. I only replied to one. The second emailed and called me incessantly. I politely replied that I emailed the first person, but he continued to email and call me, including three times within a two-minute window. I told the first person that I was still interested in a demo, but did not want to work with the other person, because I felt uncomfortable and harassed. They apologized for being ******* responsive," but not that I felt uncomfortable or that I felt like I was being harassed. I should have taken this as my sign for what was to come. We found a time for the demo and scheduled it. We learned that the product and pricing was not going to be the right fit, and I let Al, the person I was now communicating with, know that. He would not take no for an answer. He kept emailing me and calling, and others at the company, telling me that what we had learned previously was wrong and they could do what we wanted. I told him that I was sorry and that we just were not interested at this time. He kept insisting that we needed to get on the phone for 15 minutes and we would be able to come to an agreement. He had copied two men that also work at my company, which felt mysognistic and that I didn't have the authority to make this decision. One of the wrote back and said, "As ***** has already stated, we are not interested at this time." He then continued to email and call. We stopped responding at this point. Then other people from the company started to call anyone at our company they could get to answer the phone. I then let multiple managers know to not talk to them or to have their staff just take messages. I then had IT block their incoming emails. They have continued to call. The last straw was Al finding me on LinkedIn and finding my personal email.
