In 10/13/2022 My daughter ordered a service from the Cals Garage Doors to solve my house garage doors issue. The garage door couldnt open appropriately . A service man stopped by and identify the moving parts along the chain had some problem. He replaced the parts around the chain and charged us $349. I asked the service man about the warranty of service and he told me is one year. In less than a month, the garage door couldnt work again. I contacted the Cals garage door company and the service man stopped again. This time he identifies that the motor of the garage door needs to be replaced. I asked he to replace the motor free or at discount price because it is still in the warranty but he still wants to charge me in full amount. In my opinion , when he identified the problem at the first time, he at least needed to mention to us that motor needs to be replaced because it is about 24 years old.
