I purchased my home in 2007, I had a 1st and 2nd mortgage on the home. I continued to make payments on both mortgages on time until the housing crisis of 2008 at which time lost track of the owner of my 2nd mortgage as it was sold over and over. Recently FCI started sending me letters asking for payment, original loan amount was $89,980.00, now they want $116,000.00 just to reinstate the loan plus the original $89,980.00 was brings the total to over $206,000.000. I had not heard from anybody in 10 years, now FCI shows up wanting all the money at once and now my home is in foreclosure proceedings. I believe this to be a predatory act because they had ample to time to contact me so I could continue to make payments, why did they wait 10 years to reappear?Business response
