Additional Information for The Kush Crate

In February 2019 BBB launched an investigation into the business' practices after receiving many consumer complaints alleging the business was not delivering any or all of the products ordered & paid for and that consumers were unable to reach someone at the business to discuss problems with delivery and/or to request a refund. 


BBB has an address of 2230 Orange Ave. Anaheim, CA 92804 on file, however, mail sent to that address has been returned to our office. In our investigation two additional addresses were discovered for this business. The address of 9141 Cerritos Ave, Unit 2 Anaheim, CA 92804 per Google Maps is a private apartment/condo building.  Complainants have indicated this is the address that was the return address on packages received from The Kush Crate.  In addition, The Kush Crate's LinkedIn page shows an address of 6762 Warner Ave, Huntington Beach, CA, which according to Google maps is the Regency Palms apartments.  


It should be noted there is no telephone number provided for the business on its website nor could any telephone number be located during our investigation.


There is an email address, [email protected], provided on the business's website, however, it should be noted that complainants indicate that emails sent to this address go unanswered.


During the course of our investigation we identified the following Advertising issues with the business's website, www.thekushcrate.com :
·         The business is still advertising a Holiday Flash sale on the Home Page (as of March 12, 2019).
·         The business engages in e-commerce; however it does not have a Privacy Policy on its website.   
·         On its FAQ page of its website, the business states "Our crates are 100% guaranteed!".According to the BBB Code of Advertising 1.20.1:

20. Warranties or Guarantees
20.1 When using the term “warranty” or “guarantee” in product advertising, the advertiser must clearly and conspicuously include a statement that the complete details of the warranty can be seen prior to sale at the advertiser's location, viewed on the advertiser’s website or, in the case of mail or telephone order sales, made available free on written request. 




BBB contacted the business on March 12, 2019 via email at [email protected] and addressed the issues noted above and requested the business respond to BBB.  The business has not responded to BBB.
