I called *************************** last month to come fix my daughter's car. He came to my home as a mobile mechanic. I paid him for the parts and when he arrived he claimed he had the wrong parts so he left to go to a local auto parts store to return for the right part. He later called me stating that he couldn't find the right part and had to special order it. He called me stating he was going home and would return the next day with the correct part. He took parts from my daughter's car claiming he needed them to ensure he had the right part. I believed him so I allowed it. Later on his drive home he claimed that he was out of cash and asked me to help him out by pre-paying via venmo for the services and that he would return the next day with the part to fix the car. It was my own fault for believing him and feeling sorry for him. He won't answer my calls and on the rare occasion that he does answer (because he forgets my number on his caller ID) he immediately hangs up. I can tell that his personal life is a disaster which I'm willing to give anyone a 2nd chance but he's not only stolen the $ I paid him, he also stole the parts off my daughter's car that are more valuable (greater than $1k) than the service he was going to be paid for. I offered to let him return the parts and all would be forgiven but he won't respond. I can only assume he's selling the parts for a profit. I do feel sorry for him but don't want this to happen to anyone else.
