I am requesting reimbursement for two billing issues and to be paid for repairs for a move executed by Moving Stars, **** on January 21st, 2023.1.$450 - hourly overcharge 2.$700- cost to fix table leg and refinish surface 3.$195- fuel charge TIMELINE January 21st: Move February 4th: I emailed *****, a supervisor, and shared I had called several times since my move on January 21 with no response. One of the staff recommended I send an email. (see attached doc for details)February 6th: Received confirmation from Moving Stars Inc. via email that my claim had been received and they assigned it a claim number of MIL12123. They also shared the following that Household Goods carriers had 90 days from receipt of a claim to pay, decline to pay, or make a firm settlement offer in writing, to a claimant. May 8th: Requested contact information for Household Goods Carriers as I had not received any communications since submitting my claim. August 4th: Emailed Moving Stars string of emails regarding claim filed in February. it had been over six months and I still had not received a response. I requested they contact me within 7 days.Week of August 11th: I discovered that the company was national and every Moving Stars, **** routed to the same switchboard. The owner/agent of the company is ************************** and a local address is ************************************************************************. It is registered in ** with this #: ******* as a Stock Coproration August 19th: I spoke with ***** who said I should have settlement letter August 28th: I called at 3:41pm and the Booking staff member directed me to call the claim company at ************. However, no one answered and no voicemail was set up. August 31st: I went to the ******* address, where ************** ******* personal and business accountants worked. They could not help me with any additional contact information but did share that this address could function if court orders needed to be served.
