I took my **** Jeep Grand Cherokee to *********** initially on 1/9/2023 to have them evaluate my vehicle for a noise that was coming from what sounded like the front of the vehicle. Upon test driving my Jeep, **** stated that he couldn't hear any unusual noises coming from the vehicle. I stated that's impossible because even my wife hears the noise because it's so obvious. **** then had his mechanic **** take my Jeep for another test drive and then **** said that **** can hear some noise coming from my Jeep. I was at JBM from around 10:00 am until 2:00 p.m when **** finally stated that his mechanic had disassembled my Jeep (without my authorization) to be able to perform a thorough evaluation. He showed me pics of my existing front and rear driveshafts and stated that they are very worn and need to be replaced. Upon completion of the work, I paid the amount of $1,854.95 but It didn't take me more than a couple miles of driving that the noise that I heard prior to me taking my Jeep to JBM that the exact same noise was still there and to add to my frustrations, when I reached the highway speed there was/is an additional new noise that is coming from one of the 'new' driveshafts. **** acknowledged that both noises in my Jeep were present (contrary to ****'s statement that he didn't hear unusual noises in the Jeep). There was and still is no difference in the noise I heard originally from a few months ago to the noise that I am hearing today but now there's an additional noise since I brought the vehicle home from JBM. My requested solution to this is for JBM to put my used 'functional' parts back as they were into my Jeep and refund the full amount of $1,854.95 that I have already paid. This still wouldn't make up for all the lost time and travel that it cost me but at least I can get my money back and find a shop that will resolve the noises in my Jeep and hopefully a shop that practices ethical business practices.
