This is a puppy breeder. On 8/26/22 I placed a $1000 deposit on a puppy. The puppy and the entire litter died. I asked for a refund. *******, the owner, originally denied my request due to the fact that I signed a contract stating no refunds. When I pointed out that the contract was on a live puppy, and it was guaranteed healthy, she mailed a check. Shortly thereafter she stopped payment on the check due to the fact that she is now blaming me for the death of all the puppies. She claims that my dog brought in the PARVOVIRUS when I visited her home with my dog. (She allowed me to bring my dog to her facility to meet my puppy.) She has provided me with no documentation of any of this. And has begun posting on social media that I was the cause of the deaths. I work in a vet clinic (I know how to be careful around puppies), my animals are all vaccinated, I also was boarding a litter of 1 week old puppies for a client after my visit that same weekend, those puppies were not affected by parvo, they were around my dog, and I have documentation of all of this. The story of her litter dying originally began as them dying from frog toxin from being outside and eating a frog, then the story changed to parvo. None of this was shared in writing with me and now I am wondering if I am a victim of a scam as I have no proof the puppies are dead.

      Victim?

She flew her dog all over and it's in writing to ************* before she brought her Dog into our home. Within 10 days from this visit the puppies started to die. We originally thought it was from a frog until taken to the vet. I have 2 vets stating that a outside dog Even Vaccinated can carry the virus into the home by paws and their hair. You can even ****** this. She knew this was a risk as she works at a Vet facility. I sent a refund to her than cancelled after $30,000 of puppies have died since this situation. I offered to do a puppy replacement she started threatening lawsuits etc. I will attach pictures. After the threats and seeing her personality I didn't feel safe to place a puppy in her home. I did contact her when it happened, it's all in her messenger.

Also the puppies were on Double Turf outside they were NOT on the ground.

I was posting updates as I found out on my ******** page since there was more than one person affected. It wasnt't til my Vet called me when he came back into town and figured it out. Her dog is the ONLY dog that had direct contact to the puppies. She left a bed as well and most likely had the virus on it.

Others are patiently waiting for their new puppy. As you can see I have a great reputation and reviews. I also have a great reputation with all the vets in this area.

I am rejecting this response because:

The business owner did not offer a solution to the issue. The issue at hand is I am owed a refund for her failure to perform her contract. Now she is blaming me for her negligence in the litter dying. Bottom line is she allowed my animal into the facility. She admitted fault initially when sending the check. Since being blamed for the death of all her puppies, I have received nothing but hearsay as to how I caused the issue. The police officer we spoke to disclosed I am not the first person she has blamed for the loss of a large amount of dogs, she called the police on a neighbor stating they poisoned all of the dogs. There is a pattern here where this breeder loses a large amount of her animals and blames others. If the animals were even lost at all, I still have no proof of the deaths.

Thank you for your attention to this matter,

      *****************************

I am not giving the refund. I show documentation of her visiting and flying her dog to different cities prior to visiting her unvaccinated five week old puppy. Within 10 days the puppies started dying. You can see in writing that she is not being scammed as she proclaimed before but she has been very attacking and harassing which I had to block her on my ******** page. And how she also accuses again how this breeder is known for this? This is the first time this has ever happened. I have been doing this for 25 years and have never had this situation happen. I am second generation and breeding Yorkies and even before me getting into this my family has never had this happen. I think its a shame that somebody works at a vet facility and knows how **** can be transmitted and yet she still made the decision a conscious decision to bring her Chihuahua into a home to a unvaccinated five week old puppy. Its almost like she did this on purpose. So no I will not be refunding her money. Her dog is the only one that had  contact with the puppy. I feel like she needs to take a little bit more responsibility rather than acting like shes innocent. Rejected if you want I reject your response.
      You know better.
And youre repeating to do the same thing by exposing your dog to other litters that are not vaccinated. So youre very careless and I feel like its intentional

I am rejecting this response because: business owner offers no resolution, simply accusations.
