I am sorry they are unhappy with certain things. This was an insurance repair to their home. The subfloor was not damaged nor did it require any replacement. They have been directed to go back to their carrier if they feel additional coverage was required. They are on a 2 story home and there is a squeak in their floor in it is in the framing which we did not do we installed the topical flooring. This squeak as well as others in the house were pre-existing (we actually re-screwed their entire 2nd floor) and was not caused by the water damage to the home and was not covered by their carrier as well. We have been to their property 2 times to complete punch list items, we have been told that things that are pre-existing are our fault only to have photographic proof were there before we started our work.

We as a company did not get involved in this project until 1 month after the demo. They are currently holding over $4,000.00 of the final payment from their insurance proceeds which I believe they have spent incorrectly and is a direct reason for this

They do not like the fact that their insurance carrier has told them no and they are trying to make their issues out as our fault. I have included a copy of the scope of repair, and this is to make a point of how flawed these homeowners are in their logic. As you will see this project is measured and sketched and measured to the inch. When we ordered the flooring my employee made a mathematical error and ordered to much floor which caused us a return. Even though their entire floor was completed as per the contract they have the opinion because too much flooring was ordered by human error they are entitled to a credit back to them because we sent flooring back because my office staff used the wrong SF. Per box when figuring the order. This is the point where I gave up on trying to have logical conversations with them.

Their project is complete. I will be taking them to court, at that point I will offer the credit for the temporary toilet charge because we did not use an exterior temporary toilet we did remove a reset their toilet multiple times so we could use one in doors and prevent any chance of vandalism which is common practice on Insurance repairs

You can also contact their Insurance Adjuster ************************* ************ claim number 7004749077-1. There will be no further discussion with this customer from my end, it is customers like this is why there needs to be a ********************** to protect honest *********************** such as myself and others.

I am rejecting this response because: our house is incomplete and shabby material. We would like to request an independent contractor inspection of the work. We would like to make a request to the contractor licenses board of this contractors conduct. We have been out of our home for 6 months and the disrespect we have experienced with this contractor bullying manor as he refused to fix the incomplete work. Please assist us with this contractor that no other elderly will be treated like how I have been. I am a ******* veteran and this has been very triggering for me. Thanks for your assistance

      Sincerely,
