For the past two years Legends has been having loud parties in a grocery storefront of a residential area. They have huge bands of upward of 20 people play live instruments with the music amplified by a subwoofer. The location is not adequately sound proofed and can be heard (volume and bass) inside my home which is two blocks away. This is a small city where most establishments close at 9 and grocery stores close at 10 or 11. Legends stays open past 2am. I have called the business multiple times but they dont answer or call back. I have called the police multiple times and I have made reports to code enforcement. The business has made no changes to the volume or soundproofing. The ******************** state that the business is licensed and they dont have authority to cite them or make them reduce the volume. And code enforcement is closed after hours when the nuisance is occurring. This is a residential area near a hospital and senior living community. I am a homeowner that works as a public servant and has to get up early each day including weekends. This noise is disruptive to all persons outside of the patrons inside of the bar. This is changing the neighborhood as more cars come around playing their music loud and doing doughnuts in the street near the bar. I have not had a good nights sleep in years. This is infringing on my right to the peaceful enjoynment of my home. Please help to restore peace to the neighborhood and help them to keep their music inside of the building.
