May 2023 Contracted to have house exterior painted. ****** work and lying re: completion of work in difficult to reach areas. I had to inspect and have company owner become involved. Damaged Sunbrella mechanized awning in ***** process. Incompetent workers. Will cost me $2700 to have their work repaired. Asked owner to share the repair expense. No reply, ignoring the request. Allowed painters to use my house bathroom. Ended up stealing two towels. Would not use this company again.Initial Complaint

On 2.7.23 I accepted a written proposal prepared by ********************* of Coat Masters Painting, and entered into a contract to have her company prepare and paint the exterior arbor at my property, ****************************************************************************, with scope of work to include, remove all loose paint from arbor/sand as needed, remove all old paint chips, remove and replace damaged wood with new wood, prime arbor, paint 2 coats of exterior paint in low sheen finish using ********************* Envy. The proposal stated work would take approximately 3 days, as modified by the parties, beginning 2/10/23 and be completed by 2/12/23. *********** received a down payment of $1000 on 2/10/23, the total price of $2588. ************ and her crew of 2 workers began work on 2/10 at around 9 am and said job was complete at about 4 pm even though not all damaged wood had been replaced with new wood, hurried job lead to shoddy work in sections of arbor, and rest of scope of work not performed as per proposal.When I pointed out sections that clearly needed to be repainted *********** stated they were out of paint. As I was leaving town in a few days, *********** agreed to return to properly complete paint job upon my return and phone call, in writing, on the last page of the contract. The balance due was paid at this time due to Ms ****** promises and insistence.On return, on or about 4/11/23, I notified *********** in writing of my return and asked her to complete the paint job as promised or to delivery the paint so that I could have someone do so. To date, *********** has not responded, contacted me, or provided the paint as requested.
