Business sells on Amazon under the storefront OutdoorLivin. I placed an order for a commercial white pool vacuum hose for $60 plus tax. However I received the standard-duty residential version. I requested a refund/exchange which seller approved for the purchase amount of $64.65. They provided a shipping label in order for me to return item. As per the refund policy, my refund would be received after the wrong item was received by seller. This was on ****. On 9-1, they issued a refund in the amount of $3.23, charging me a RE-stocking fee of $61.42. They stated they were charging me a restocking fee because the item was received in unsalable condition and was determined to be trash. I NEVER had the chance to return the item! I still have the item they claim was received as trash. It was NEVER shipped back to them. They are refusing to acknowledge this error and continue to respond to my inquiries that the item was received as trash. I feel strongly that this seller purposely advertises a high-quality, more expensive item and then sends the standard quality, much cheaper item. They then refuse a refund or charge a restocking fee as a way to retain most of the money the consumer spent. They lie and state the item was received as trash as their reason to charge an exorbitant restocking fee. They are knowingly and purposely ripping people off. I exhausted every Amazon method and they are unable to help me as this is a third-party seller and Amazon cannot prevent them from preying on unsuspecting customers.
