I bought a used brush mower from glens for $8000 cash he said he would get a receipt to me the following day i never got it and when i asked for one he ignore me then i asked him if the brush had been serviced and he yes. The hydro filter was black instead clear and so was the fluid The next day i went to use it and the hydraulic transmission locked up just from using it for an hour. I went back to talk to him about it and he said to drop it off but he wouldn’t be able to find outs what’s wrong for a few months. I told him then i want a refund he said no refunds i said that’s not fair he said it ran fine when you left i said you don’t honor a warranty that’s when ignore me and walk away so i went home and made a few calls to see if i could find some one look at it they said the mower shop you bought it from are the only ones that can work on them so i took it back and said if your not going to refund my money then atleast help me and go in 1/2 he said okay. Then 2 months later he calls me in to pickup and $2000 shop labor that’s my 1/2 he took the engine of the one i bought and installed it on a different mower with used transmission that’s having the same problem i didn’t authorize him to give me a different mower our agreement was he was going order a new transmission and we would go 1/2 well he follow through with it so now. The other thing i can do to get a refund is take him to small claims court. After switching the mowers on me if he does give me a receipt for $8000 cash then i am going to make sure the IRS knows i paid cash and my helper was with me when i gave him cash and i will contact my lawyer and take him to small claims court. If decides to give me a full refund then i won’t need to do any legal action
