The rudder on our 2016 MB Sports F22 Tomcat inexplicably broke off. I thought maybe my steering cable had broken, but after we were able to limp our way back to the dock and get our boat on the trailer, I looked underneath, and the rudder was gone. We werent in shallow water and we didnt hit anything, I was simply pulling up my son for a normal wakeboard run. From a few forums I have seen, I know this isnt an isolated incident and has happened to multiple owners like myself and to my knowledge MB has done nothing to address the issue or make their customers whole. I have never heard of the happening to any other brand of boats and it is especially disappointing for a company that prides itself on quality craftmanship and engineering. I have called multiple times and left multiple messages and so far I have just been ignored. Disappointing on so many levels.Business response

MB's customer service contacted customer on Aug 8th. ****** was broken a week and a half ago per conversation with customer. Rudder was out of warranty however customer's dealer repaired rudder at no charge. The claim was completed on Aug 8, 2023.
