September 9, 2022 Re: D ************ **** Heating and Air -Dispute **** Heating and Air installed our heating and air conditioning system, which was installed in the later part of March 2021. During the cool weather (not the cold season) the system seemed to keep the home slightly/marginally warm but the cost of running this new system was extremely high. The first type of failure of the system occurred after warm weather required the system to operate in cool mode. The air conditioning condensate system (repeatedly) flooded the closet/carpet/floor and ruined the dry wall ceiling below. Although a **** tech came out to fix/check a problem 6/4/21 my request to discuss (with management) the major damages was ignored. Also, the flooding problem recurred (the fix was temporary) and it took **** nearly a week to arrive (on 6/10/21) with a different tech who not only surprised me by an invoice, but also told me to fix the system myself! I refused to pay his invoice and again requested to be contacted by **** management but have yet (even to this date) to be contacted by the owner/management. **** caused the failure/flooding due to a poor choice (on their part and without consulting us for approval) to use flexible tubing in our attic instead of ridged pipe. This was doomed to fail because the flexible tube quickly developed peaks and sags. Therefore, the condensate was unable to flow to the exterior of the house and destroyed the interior sheetrock and then became visible to us when water stains ran down the stairs. At that point we identified the drip was definitely caused by the poorly constructed **** system/installation. The second type of failure of the High Efficiency **** installation/system is extremely poor durability and poor efficiency. The system failed inspection (until a reinspection could take place under mild weather conditions it would appear). However, in this extreme heat wave the 1 year old **** system is TOTALLY INEFFECTIVEBusiness response

We installed a system in March 2021. Along with this system, we installed a condensate pump. The outlet that the condensate pump was plugged into, sometime in June 2021. This was not a HVAC issue but an electrical issue with the outlet. We came out and resolved the issue at no cost. We were not responsible for the outlet failure. I am the owner at **** and would be happy to discuss this with **************** and will reach out to him, this is the first I have heard that they were feeling **** was at fault for the power outage in that outlet of the home.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: The Heating & Air system installation caused more harm then good to our home and it does not work. I haven't heard from the owner and I have requested to be contacted by the owner repeatedly (including from the technicians on-site. This may be best handled by the State Licensing Board. The owner of **** Heating has a false narrative and seeks to avoid responsibility.Business response

Our request to discuss was rejected.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: The contractor caused substantial damage to our home and will be held liable at the state licensing board or court.
