Big lady with red bun was a complete piece of sh, immediately assumed I didn’t live there and told me I couldn’t be there instead of verifying my information. she went straight to kick me out and muttered something under her breath when I told her to call my partner to confirm that I lived here and I asked her to repeat herself and she just walked away into the office right away, She notified me an hour later after me using the pool that I couldn’t be there let alone live there. What would’ve happened if I was an approved applicant ? Or if I was a different color??? Didn’t even hesitate to be nice about it or ask anything before deciding to tell me to get out and not live here. I asked her to call my partner so she can confirm her info and stated she will but I need to leave. I was not hostile in any way I maintained my respect even though I felt targeted and she continued to throw me out. Very unprofessional and makes me question every single thing about this place. I hope she finds a new career where she won’t seem as miserable and gets punished in some sort of way for the mistreatment I have gotten from her, all she had to do was be nice and informative. Instead she decided to act like a complete jerk.

    Belcourt Apartments Response

To Whom It May Concern: Our staff observed an unauthorized occupant in the pool and spa area on Tuesday, June 6th, 2023. We asked the female that was accompanied by 2 other guests to confirm the apartment she resided. She confirmed the apartment, and we advised her that she was not listed as an occupant in the Lease. Therefore, she needed to leave the premises. She then requested we contact the Lease holder and we continued to advise her that she was not listed as an occupant. We reached out to the lease holder and advised him of the situation. Referred the tenant to the Lease Agreement as it stipulates the following: Tenants agree that said apartment shall be used and occupied for no other purpose than as a dwelling; and that said apartment shall be occupied only by tenants listed in the agreement and no others, without first obtaining the written consent of Landlord. Guests are permitted to use the pool and spa and tenants must be with their guests at all times. Management reserves the right to limit the number of guests at any time. For health and safety reasons, we restrict the number of guests and implemented rules and regulations at Belcourt and are to be followed. If all residents brought in multiple guests, it would reach over the maximum limits of occupancy. All tenants must go through a background check. No exceptions.
