On July 28, 2022, we took two vehicles to Absolute Quality Paint and Body for repair. 2018 Toyota 4runner and 2020 Dodge Charger. ****** Nunez (owner) requested a $5000 deposit upfront per vehicle and if an additional cost was incurred to pay the remainder at the completion or during pickup of the vehicles. On 07/29/2022 a $5000 cash deposit was given for Toyota 4runnner. On 08/01/2022 a Toyota 4runner was stolen from the shop and recovered the next day with significant damages – see Sherrif’s report attached. He stated he will be responsible for the damages done to the 4runner. Then, on 08/13/2022 he requested a deposit of $5000 for the Dodge Charger which we paid with a Chase card. By September 13, ***** has not given us an estimated cost of repairs, nor a date of completion. So we told him we will be removing the Dodge and gave him until September 21, 2022, to at least complete the repairs of damages done while the vehicle was in his custody. ****** got upset and told us he got too much work and to remove both vehicles. Basically unable to deliver the service. He refused to refund the money of $10,000, he failed to compensate the 4runner for the damages done after stolen, and he returned the vehicles unrepaired. The 4runner was in unrecognizable condition. From July 28 - Sept 14, 2022, he was not able to even provide estimated repairs but took our money upfront. That time is too long to not even have an estimated completion date. This is bad business, fraud, poor ethics, and breach of contract.
