I HAVE BEEN UNLAWFULLY OVERCHARGED FOR STORAGE FEES FOR THE AMOUNT O $1,800.00. I HVE NEVER BEEN INFORMEN OF ANY STORAGE FEES AND I NEVER AUTHORIZED TO MY CAR TO BE TAKEN TO THIS BODY SHOP, SINCE MY CAR WAS ALREADY IN ANOTHER SHOP. I HAD TO PAY THE $1,800.00 OTHERWISE THEY THREATHEN ME THAT I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO TAKE MY CAR BACK.Business response

***** ****** 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLA35 11/05/2022 it was tow to Trends auto body **** ****** hwy Bakersfield ca ***** from ***** **** street ****** ca. We have text to prove that ***** gave us directions where her Mercedes was located and gave us approval to tow it to Trends auto body then she call her insurance to let them know where her Mercedes was located at Trends auto body on ****** hwy wend the Mercedes was badly damage front end and suspension then the insurance arrive we tear down the Mercedes GLA35 so the insurance could take a good look of what they need it to repair and replace ones the insurance told ***** ****** the amount. then she call us and told us to stop working on it because she decided to take it back to the other shop. The only charges where for the tear down $400 tow bill $120 and the storage fees 11/5/2022 to 11/18/2022 $1800 witch she agree.
