      Took my 2013 ***** Suburban to Sparking Image Car Wash early April 28th 2024, received it back with a large crack in the dashboard on the driver side. Attempted to contact the company to resolve this issue for almost a month at this point without resolution. Finally received a call back May 24th 2024 from *******************, customer service manager of the corporate office east coast refusing to fix the issue due to a dash recall filed with the courts in 2019 that was later dismissed. Not only is a cracked dash extremely dangerous but their customer service is asinine.

      The consumer brought her boyfriend's 2013 Suburban to our location on Sunday April 28, 2024. She purchases a ************ Wheels & Spray Wax wash. The ************ wash comes with a dusting of the dash, doors & console area, vacuum and windows cleaned. No product was used on her vehicle. She left the wash without any concerns. 

      Consumer stated she called the car wash on Monday April 29th and returned on Wednesday May 1, 2024 stating we cracked the dashboard. On that day our Manager stated to her it was not likely this had happened at our wash.  

      The consumer was not ignored. My office is in ************* and the consumer visited one of our *********** CA locations.

      5/22/24 consumer called my office at 8:07 a.m.

      5/22/24 I e-mailed the consumer requesting photos at 8:15 a.m.

      5/22/24 consumer responded with a thank you e-mail at 8:25 a.m.

      5/22/24 at 3:45 p.m. I received photos from consumer

      5/22/24 at 3:56 p.m. I replied to the consumer stating I would be in touch by the end of the day Friday May 24, 2024. 

      5/24/24 at 12:41 p.m. I called the customer and stated unfortunately her claim is denied.  This is a common problem with the year, make and model of her vehicle and it is not something we will be repairing. She had to go because she was at work.  

      5/24/24 at 12:57 p.m. I emailed the consumer apologized we will not be repairing or replacing the dash. I also sent the links showing this is a common problem with the vehicle.

      5/26/24 at 9:51 a.m. I received an email from the consumer "This is an unacceptable reason, you researched prior complaints regarding dashboard issues (which I was unaware of till this incident). When I brought our car in for a wash the dash was in perfect condition not a **** on it. It is so sad that this company has no integrity or honesty. I want you to fix what you broke, why should I be out the money due to your negligence?

      It is an unfortunate situation, as she stated, she was unaware of the issue until this incident, however this does not change the fact that there is not anything our employee had done to cause this damage, and it is a known problem with her boyfriend's vehicle.

      I am a frequent customer to this car wash, and generally, they do a fairly good job. However, the service on 5/3/2024 was very poor, and there were water spots all over the seats with streaks from the wax all over the car. I was forced to clean this at home by myself as I was there towards the end of the business day. I paid $89.99 and expected better. When I reached out to the managers via email, I had to send multiple before receiving a response. They told me they could not return the payment electronically or issue a check and that I had to make time to travel back to the business to resolve this. I may not have a chance for another month or so. This places the onus on the customer when it was the business that offered a poor service on that day. The business claims that they have no means to refund me in any other way which I find odd.

      In the past we had been able to issue credit card purchase refunds in the form of a check. In fact, we had done that for this customer on July 21, 2023 when he was unhappy with a wash. 

      We are no longer able to do that as we have had other customers receive their refund checks and dispute then their credit cards leaving our company to refund the customer twice. 

      We do not store our customers credit card numbers in any of our systems and do not have a way of refunding the credit card without it going through the credit card machine. 

      This is not meant to inconvenience anyone. I let the customer know we can do the refund when the customer is able to return to the wash. The only thing he will need is his credit card and receipt. 

      We do apologize for the inconvenience.

      I went to go get an oil change and the recommended that I need a collect service. I told them go ahead if you recommend it. I paid all to get about 275. Once they got done with my service my check oil light was still on I drove back to that place and they checked my car and told me I had a leak i was confuses cause my car was fine when I took it there. The next day I was driving my car my car over heated and went back to that place told them how is this happening cause I never had a problem with my car. One of the works told me there was a leak in the cooling I told him you guys never told me that and I know my car wasnt leaking. The other guy told me if you had a leak they shouldve service my car. I told him I know I didnt have a leak my car was fine the worker told me if there was a leak and we service ur car we probably messed it up more. I told him well this is on you guys I told him I need to speak to the manger asap. I seen the manger on Tuesay and he seen my car. he told me nothing was wrong with ur car when I brought it to them I told him I know my car was fine. I told him but one of ur guys did something to it I told him you guys messed up in my car and took advantage of me. Now they r trying to say my car was messed up before I brought it to them I told him no it wasnt my car was good ur guys did something to it. And I told him and if it was messed up why didnt you guys tell me u guys r suppose to refuse service but u didnt u guys took my money
