My daughter was hit by a truck and died. I kept being told different things from the woman ********. I am trying to get my daughter's property that was with her wen she died. I talked to ******** and she told me that she had to talk to the coroners office that she would call me back. That was two weeks ago. I talked to coroners office and was told they sent them to historic union where my daughter was creamated. I have been sending messages to ******** and she doesn't answer. This has been going on since my daughter's death I ask something I'm told I'll call you back and I have to go back and forth for answers. The stories are never the same. I would like my daughter's things that were with her the night she died. They should of given to me without me having to ask for them

My mother passed away in December. She had made many arrangements on her own prior to her passing. When I went to make her final arrangements the cemetery told me she hadn't paid for a headstone. My aunt went with me and wants to be buried in the same spot, so I paid for a double head stone later I found paperwork that my mother paid for a single head stone. I produced my records and asked for a refund on the single head stone. ******** tried to give me a partial refund and I refused it I told her I should get a complete refund on what my mother paid for , She had paid $992.02. After much discussion I received a check for $900. I cashed the check but I notified ******** that I was still owed me $92.02 because I expected a full refund. ******** is refusing to pay me the balance owed. I've been dealing with this for the past couple of months during which time , I should be grieving and recovering not fighting about money. Also, the cemetery should've notified me that my mom had already paid for a single headstone. Had my mom not kept copies, they would've got away with the double billing. The amount I am still owed is $92.02.

I recently lost my husband and he was buried at Union Cemetery. I ordered a headstone from them but over a few months of not getting answers as to my headstone it was suggested that i could go somewhere else so i did. I was able to get one from Greenlawn funeral home. I had sent them the same template that was given to me and I forwarded it to them now that its ready union has refused to install it stating the measurements are not correct but this is what I had been working on with them. So Greenlawn has reached out the them to get official measurements and have not responded to their phone calls. Per the manager ******** if it had been their mistake they would fix but i feel that the measurement on the template was good at the time why is it not good now. The manager has been rude and uncooperative with myself and Greenlawn

      Dear Customer,

First and foremost, our apologies for the inconvenience.  Historic Union Cemetery's Rules and Regulations for companion headstone requirements are 14x30x3 headstones for a companion gravesite.  The larger dimensions allow you to honor your love with your memorial tribute for two people.

While a single gravesite, you can lay a headstone with dimensions of 12x24x3.  We are happy to clarify any misunderstandings.  At your convince, feel free to contact our office for further assistance.

I am rejecting this response because: This information was not given to me months in advance of my approving a template for the screen and was held up for several months with no communication from the cemetery the manager had these specifications been said from the beginning this would’ve been avoided but since the manager did not specify the specifications everything that she sent to me was sent on to the next business to make this headstone which to me is a mistake that could’ve been Avoided from the beginning there is no accountability from the manager and I am sure that I am not the only person that this has happened to so this generic answer to my complaint is ridiculous and not acceptable
