I chose this property for the location and the included breakfast. I was in town on business and it was quite important that I received morning coffee, juice and light food. Also, it was important to my associate that the pool was available and the property was quiet and smoke free. There was no breakfast. NOTHING. The front desk told me they stopped in 2019 and were trying to get the owner to change the pictures and description. The property was filthy, homeless people smoking in the halls and parking lot, digging through the dumpster and doing drugs in cars on the property. The staff seemed complacent, However they worked hard to clean up after the crazy people each day. Pool deck was never swept or cleaned the entire visit. it seems that the owners are being paid by the ******************* to house homeless families. I felt like I was staying in a shelter. People cussing, hitting thier children in front of everyone...(those poor kids) smoking, drinking, spitting and lound talking with plenty of noise. Swimming fully clothed to do laundry! It was a horrible experience. I have yet to contact my booking agnecy or cc company. I happen to have millions of views on ****** and choose not to slander this business. However, I would hope that Mr. ********************** Owner would make the appropriate changes to the site and voluntarily refund at least one of my several sleepless nights. Maybe even listen to your staff. I understand it's just bad business to lie to your paying customers. I pay for the right to "quiet enjoyment" which I did not receive. Shame on you Mr. ********************** You are an experienced hotel owner so maybe you will chose to make it right with me? I do not want this to sound like I am against homless people. they are human beings, even the ones that act like animals. I know the City pays you. I should never have to lower my expectations to stay in your property. No public review yet, but I will never forget this shameful and difficult experience!Initial Complaint

On 01/25/2022 I ******* ******* paid the Travelodge By Wyndham $425.60 as well as a $100 refundable cash deposit upon checkout to occupy a room until 01/30/2022 with the exception of checking out on any giving day leading up until the day of departure under the agreement of not receiving the refundable deposit. On 01/27/2022 unexpectedly I had a serious family emergency that required me to depart from the Travelodge early under the agreement of the refundable deposit being kept and on that day the hotel clerk described herself as ***** would not agree to any of the terms made as well as would nor provide me with the hotel supervisors contact information nor would she contact the supervisor to authorize the transaction of being refunded the remainder of the days in which ***** refused to produce in which causing severe problems in my serious family occasion as well as negatively yelled at a high voice tone that she was of no help to me and to return in the morning when another clerk is availableBusiness response

we refunded their money , avout deposit of $100 was not because they had not mentioned about 3 dogs they had it in room and we charge for $20 per pet per day ,so that is the reason deposit not refundable
