Sandimas medical group billed my insurance June 3rd ,2022 for DOS January 2022 through May 2022 for prenatal care appointments . Which hit timely filing after 90 days from January 1st,2022. The office has kept a credit of mine in the $887 that I had for over paying the office ,and on top of that credit that they kept they are wanting me (the patient) to pay an additional $670 for the mistake they made on billing my insurance when it hit timely filing . When it states clearly on my insurance denial patient is not responsible and as an anthem blue cross provider they can not charge patient for this denial as it was the office mistake . The staff is very rude , Kandi knudson who is suppose to be the office manager never returned any of my emails or phone calls to answer any questions I had , the billing team keeps either saying well we put the amount on you so you fight your insurance and if you do not you have to pay this amount . I need $887 credit back as well as the $670 that they are trying to charge adjusted off as my insurances already stated it is not a patient responsibility.Business response
