On July 29,2023 at 210pm I pumped gas at pump 6 at Shell station on mearle haggard hwy and porterville exit 99 hwy I used my debit card stopped pumping gas at $20.22 and it asked if I wanted a receipt I pushed yes it said go inside to get it. The cashier was confused about the pump saying that cuz they have no paper receipts. I felt it was ok since I made sure the pump cleared my card n was not able to pump gas when I left. I was charged 50.00 so I called the store arranged to meet the next day and when I went talked to same lady she said it's happens all time one lady was charged 700.00 . Then told me to just dispute it with my bank. They are thieves....Business response

This customer was given the option to take a receipt from the cashier inside after her transaction, she failed to do so. She was also asked to come back to the store and we could look up the transaction to confirm she was overcharged. She failed to come back or to even call back to speak with the store manager, who could have looked up the transaction receipt and compared to her bank statement to show if there was truly any discrepancies. If there would have been an overcharge the store would have refunded her.
