I had my audiology test done in this hospital on 10/72020 because my hospital doesn't provide this service. After 2 months I received a bill of 911.58 which was not paid by my insurance and after long wait of pleading my insurance to help me to pay this bill No help was given and And I'm taking care of my credit record I ended up paying this bill by installment with auto pay to avoid penalty and I preferred to always enroll by automatic pay for all of my bills. But today I received a bill from this company and demanding me to call the collection and demanding me to pay my balance of $552 one time payment in order for me to get help I needed so I don't need to call collection. I I requested if I can pay 3x for the balance because I don't have enough but hey said they cant help me. I explained to them that I was not properly informed before they sent to collection They told my card was declined and they sent me the letter last month but I didn't receive any mails or voicemail or text or emails to make me aware of what's going on. That month I just remember that I lost 1 of my credit card. They can call me if there's something wrong Instead they sent my bills to collection right away and it will really ruin my credit score as I'm in the process of financial application for my kids. I never run away from debt or pay late for my bills because I really take care of my record but this people just want to give suffering to their customers and patients. What kind of people are these? Why they treat their patient like this?Initial Complaint

Adventist Health acct. #7*********9-2 Billed for radiation services Feb. 5-March 10 2020 in the amount of $4,920. Made 3 payments before being sent to collection agency, USCB #10402726, in October 2020. Account was sold to CMRE #*********9 and paid in full in May 2021. In March 2021, I received an EOB from my insurance showing they paid Adventist Health $4,391.35 for radiation therapy. I have spent the past 4 months in contact with Patient Accounting ###-###-#### attempting to get that refunded to me as I have a $0 balance at Adventist Health. They sold my debt to USCB so they've been paid twice. After explaining my situation in detail each CSR promised to have their supervisor, Kari, call me and I've yet to ever hear from her. I've sent copies of my EOB to them as well per the email given to me: [email protected]. I feel contacting you is the only recourse to getting my money back.
