We were told that there was going to be a new breaker panel put on our house. All of this was in the plans that we signed off on and the plans that were approved by the city. They ended up not putting a new panel on the house and when they were confronted about this they said that we did not need a new one. In our loan, we paid for a new breaker panel. ****** said they were going to put the panel on out of their own pockets if we needed one and we did not pay for this in the loan. This did not seem correct and I fought this because there was a promise of new equipment made that was not fulfilled. ****** decided to write us a check for $1,500 to cover not replacing the breaker panel which we agreed on. Later when the battery was being put on the house the battery was a 3kw battery, but in the initial text agreements, city plans that were approved, and the contract we signed we should be getting a 10kw battery. Again, something that we paid for. ****** immediately denied it, and was unprofessional when speaking with us. After much debate and back and forth ****** said he would get us a 10kw battery. This was something that we paid for in our loan and was promised to us in multiple different documents. This is something that we are still waiting for.Recently there has been a water spot on his ceiling. I reached out to ****** for the roofing companys information to get this squared away. I was told by the roofing company that they had not been paid in full and that they would not certify our roof. He said that he would come out and take a look, but if it is related to the solar installation it would be up to the solar company. When the roofing company came out he told me that a guy named **** with **** Exteriors contacted him to do the roofhere is a hole in my roof that the solar company drilled and missed. They circled the hole and never fixed it. This is why my roof is currently leaking.

Attached is ********************* contract as you can see is signed by *****************. She claims she paid in her loan for a 10kwh battery. As you can see that is not factual. She claims that she paid for an upgraded electrical breaker, but received a main panel upgrade. ***************** received a main panel upgrade per the contract, which is the highest electrical upgrade you can receive. I am not sure of ********************* complaint here. Additionally, we have contacted ********************* lender and provided them this same contract as well as our photo report and planset. The lender agreed we have fulfilled our agreement in its entirety. Any further continued slander from ***************** will result in legal action, including this complaint if not deleted.

I am rejecting this response because:

      Updated Statement:
We hired Discount Solar to put a roof and solar panels on our new house in June 2023. The roof was put up and then the solar with little to no issues. The issues started when we noticed to solar company trying to cut corners. We were told that there was going to be a new breaker panel put on our house. All of this was in the plans that we signed off on and the plans that were approved by the city. They ended up not putting a new panel on the house and when they were confronted about this they said that we did not need a new one. The issue was in our loan we paid for a new breaker panel. The owner of the company ***************************** said that they were going to put the panel on out of their own pockets if we needed one and we did not pay for this in the loan. This did not seem correct and I fought this because there was a promise of new equipment made that was not fulfilled. ****** decided to write us a check for $1,500 to cover not replacing the breaker panel which we agreed on.
Later when the battery was being put on the house Hunter noticed that the battery was a 3kw battery, but in the initial text agreements, city plans that were approved, the panels on the house stating what is installed, and the contract we signed we should be getting a 10kw battery. Again, this is something that we paid for. ****** immediately denied it, was unprofessional when speaking with ******, and pulled a contract that says we were getting a 3kw battery. After much debate and back and forth ****** said he would get us a 10kw battery. This was something that we paid for in our loan and was promised to us in multiple different documents. We were told this battery would be installed by the end of 2023 but was not installed until today April 9, 2024.
In December, when we were in my son's room we noticed that there was a water spot on his ceiling. Our brand-new roof is leaking. I reached out to ****** for the roofing companys information to get this squared away. I was told that the roofing company had not been paid in full and that they would not certify our roof. He said that he would come out and take a look, but if it is related to the solar installation it would be up to the solar company.
When the roofing company came out he told me that a guy named **** with **** Exteriors contacted him to do the roof. When the job was completed he received a check a month later that bounced. He then went to social media about the company and got a call from ********* asking for it to be taken down and he would pay him. The roofing company ended up only getting paid for the materials and not the labor. There is a hole in my roof that the solar company drilled and missed. They circled the hole and never fixed it. This is why my roof was leaking.
There ended up being an argument on my front lawn between the Solar company and the roofing company about damages, the roofing company had to be kicked off the property. Eventually, everything was fixed with the roof and ceiling after the ceiling had to be fixed twice. The roof has still not been certified by anyone, and Discount Solar promised that they would have someone certify our roof.
We were told that on April 9th, 2024, the additional batteries would be installed. When we got home we saw that one of the additional 2 batteries was installed. We are still a 3kw battery short of what we were promised and what is on panels on the house, in contracts, as well as in city plans for our solar. We were told today that they would not be installing the third battery because they have gone above and beyond for us and dont appreciate that we filed something with the Better Business Bureau or the ************************** We are not left without a certification for our brand new roof because of an issue with the company they contracted to do our roof as well as missing a 3kw because they feel they have gone above and beyond. While in all reality they have not fulfilled their contract to us.

I have been in contact with CSLB to reinstate my initial claim as well as the city building department and inspector.

I am looking to have the third battery installed like they said they were going to have a 10kw battery. I am also looking for my roof to be certified since the company they hired to complete the job will no longer certify the roof. I would also accept the monetary equivalent of finding another company to install an additional battery and for a roof certification.

We have a signed off permit from the city inspector, we have a signed off inspection from the lender, approval from the utility company. a decision from CSLB in favor of **, a decision from BBB in favor of us.

the approval from the city inspector verifies we have done the entire job per code and accurately. The inspection from the lender verifies we have performed all actions of the contract agreed upon. Meaning you did not pay for anything you did not receive (we actually gave you more than you paid for).

At this time we will give **************** one opportunity to cancel ALL complaints or we will *** for defamation , loss of revenue, and fraud.
