  They are responsive to get the sale and the installers are great, but the post installation service is non existent. Our system is less that 2 months old. The Tesla back up battery performance is spotty. It won't charge fully despite generating so much solar that we've sending back to the grid. It doesn't always discharge and causes you to pull from the grid even when you have plenty. Because no one ever calls back, I've tried resetting the system occasionally which helps for a while. You would expect better service and performance for a *****k system under 2 months old. Do not bother doing business with the company if you need a battery, which will be anyone on NEM 3.

  I have been waiting for over 4 months for them to come remove solar panels from my roof. I have a leak and they are not respodning. The representatives who sell the product tell you one thing but the company treats you differently once the contracts are signed and they feel they have you on the hook. Stay away from this company at all cost. I have multiple emails to prove my case.

  I regret having a business transaction with this company who wants to make a slave out of me for having business transactions with them. Blue ***** ********************** contacted me for installation of solar panels on my property. During one of my multiple discussions with their employee, ***********************, who introduced himself as the Zonal Manager for Blue ***** **********************, I asked him this question, "If I should fund the solar panel installation out of pocket, give me a ballpack (an educated guess) cost." He picked a piece of his company flyer and wrote out the cost for different components, labor, permits, design, etc. and everything was an estimate of $10,800.00. Based on this informed estimate by a zonal manager I accepted installing solar panel on my property. I was surprised that Blue ***** ********************** failed in full disclosure required and obtained a loan of $41,190.00 from SunPower Financial. Till date, Blue ***** has refused to give me item-by-item breakdown of how they arrived at the total cost of $41,190.00 on my behalf from its business partner SunPower.On January 2024, SunPower sent an email to me to set up my account for loan repayment. They set the monthly payment at $156.67 for payment to commence February 2024. I set up the account and opted to pay $160.67 ($4 in excess of the lender's monthly payment). From that day, I have never defaulted in the payment. An autopay was set up and the payment have never been late. It is so surprising that the loan amount has increased to $41, ******, also, interest rate was changed from 3.99% (fixed) to 4.25%.My Demands 1. SunPower to reverse whatever calculation method that increases principal amount to a calculation method that will see the principal amount reduce every month in-so-far-as payments are being made as at and when due.2. Collect from Blue ***** ********************** any amount in excess of $15,000. This is the estimated maximum cost for the project 3. Bring back interest rate to 3.99%

  SunPower company one of the worst companies that I ever deal with back in Nov.2022 we install our system I was promised price match. The over charge for the product it around $8000 dollar from other company. In top of that they don't tell you that your loan will go up in thein couples of months is just a try out in top of that you will not get the full-incentive money that they mention. I have been calling text and emailing the salesperson and his supervisor for almost a year and final after I file a complaint with BBB someone email t had been two months and the person who name is ***** had not gotten back to me This is ridiculously high!!! Being that they shouldn't be operating. OF COURSE I WILL NOT BE REFERRING SUNPOWER TO ANYONE!!! please don't used them the worst company If I could give then a (0 ) I will.

  Horrible company do not recommend! never got anything that the salesman promised no savings. Weve had panels out for months no fixing no nothing piece of garbage

  DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SUNPOWER THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON-EXISTENT WHEN THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH WARRANTY REPLACEMENT We installed SunPower solar panels on our home in December 2018. On September 13, 2023, I realized that three micro-inverters were no longer working, and I reported that to SunPower. I started calling them weekly to get warranty replacements and SunPower kept giving me different reasons why they could not complete the repairs. The original contractor that represented SunPower has since stopped working with them because they were unable to get parts themselves and be paid for warranty work by SunPower. SunPower then told me they the parts but did not have a contractor in the area and were having problems finding someone to do the work. After filing a complaint with BBB in 2023, I was contacted by two different escalation specialists who have not done anything either. The latest excuse is that the parts are out of stock, and they do not know when they will receive them. What I kept asking was if they were getting parts for new installs, why were they unable to get parts for warranty replacements. I still have not received an answer to that question only that the parts are under supply constraints, and we are still pending the delivery of the needed parts. They will not return phone calls and now have stopped responding via email.

  Our family had such a great experience with SunPower by Sun Solar. They were so professional. Our consultant ************** were so helpful and very considerate to our needs. The installation took some time but so worth the wait! We have been using our system for the last year and it has brought a lot of benefits for saving per month. They value their customers and would recommended their service.

  Sun Solar made this a really easy experience to learn and install solar panels on our house. Im very grateful that this wasnt a chore and it was actually kind of fun!
