On May 3rd, 2024 I purchased a lot of lego minifigures from the South Central California Goodwill through their online auction website. The advertised listing said, "LEGO 5lb Mini ******************** Bundle - Pokmon Star Wars ****************** I purchase legos by the pound and understood that I would receive the item as it was written in the listing. I paid $667.00 ($652.00 plus $15.00 shipping) and expected to receive 5lbs of mini figures as advertised. The item was delivered via ***** on May 10th at 10:43am the tracking number is ************ When I received the item I opened it and it contained excessive amounts of packing materials. I removed the packing materials and weighed the actual item. The scale indicated the item only weighed 3.14 lbs of minifigure legos. When I attempted to reach out and ask to return the item for a refund or a partial refund to keep the item and adjust for the missing pieces, the store refused to authorize a return. Their position was that the package itself weighed 5lbs however that was the legos, the shipping box, and packing materials not the actual weight of the mini figures as advertised.
