      I bought a durango from catanos auto sales on 4-10-23 with a 1000 mi warranty I have made several complaints about drivetrain issues nothing was resolved until I took it to a transmission shop and had them assess the problem with photo and report of metal in the fluid and filter Catanos agreed to rebuild the transmission I recieved my vehicle on 7-18 the transmission was even worse it slips and leaks and still has the original complaint of clunking my MPG has gone from 17 to 7 my side window bangs when used and more. I called the co. I called to report my dissatisfaction and to let me know what they are going to do about it they have not responded I have emailed them and no response.

      Catano's auto sales have talk with the customer and agreed to bring in the vehicle on 8/7/2023 to inspect the transmission.

      in april of 2022 i purchased a lexus lx 460 from catanos he told me that i was approved for a loan from strata bank although i was able to get financed through there ion house program because i purchased a vehicle and paid it off completely the year before (they never gave me a pink slip for that car) . he 2 weeks later had the car repod from my driveway they said that i was not making payments but i was not yet due for any payment i told them i wanted to call and verify with the dealership to check what was going on and when i turned around my car was gone .the chp said there was no record of my car being repod the dealer would not tell me where my car was located or who towed my car . he would not let me get my things from the vehicle and to this day will not give me a copy of my contract because mine was in the car along with my newborns car seat formula and diapers which i just purchased very sentimental items from my daughters father to me and my daughter . and a couple thousand dollars worth of items that belonged to me . half being brand new that i just purchased. i have tried numerous times i have audio recording . and witnesses . every time i contact him for my contract he has a different excuse why he wont give it to me . first it was the bank took back my loan (i contacted the bank they said they have never ran my credit before. he wanted another 5000 to do inhouse loan instead. i gave him 5000. then say they cant find the keys , accusing my boss of giving him fake documents , saying i did not have insurance (he got me the insurance before i drove off in the car ) i have documents from the insurance i have got in the mail. he has caused another problem with the insurance because he would not tell me where the car was . he said i am not getting my money or my car back . will not negotiate with me .. im trying to get into my email for the documents i do have . i have pictures of me in the car on there too for now i have mail from the insurance company to prove i did purchase the vehiclle.

      On March of 2022 (NOT in April as incorrectly stated by ***** ******) She came in to Catano's Auto Sales located at 2*** *** ** *********** ** ***** she needed to purchase a vehicle and wanted to do in house finance Wich we do offer, unfortunately she did not qualify for the buy here program due to a delinquent payment history on a previous account with Catano's.  The salesman (****) told her that she might qualify for a car loan through a finance company.  her credit score was not high enough to get approved through a credit union, she was never approved through strata Credit Union that is a false statement.  However, she was approved for a 2007 Lexus LS 460 through a subprime finance company which offers loans to people with lower credit scores, but they require proof of income among other stipulations from the buyer.  The salesman (****) explained her all that very clearly and she agreed to provide all documents needed by the next morning.  Unfortunately, the paystubs she sent to the salesman were not legitimate they were missing some information and there were inconsistencies with the earnings. (Copies will be attach) The salesman (****) contacted her on several more occasions with no answer from her, resulting on this being an unwind or cancel sale because without all the required stipulations there is no loan from the back.  On 4/14/2022 the 2007 Lexus was picked up from the address on file.  The whole front of the car was destroyed, she (*****) had crashed the car and never notified the dealership (Catano's).  Her insurance was contacted by Catano's and apparently, she had been involved in a multi car collision where alcohol was involved, and she fled the scene.  This is information given to Catano's by her insurance and was obtain by them from witnesses and victims of the hit and run on 4/8/22. (Pictures of car will be attach) The insurance claim #********* was dismissed because insurance investigators were never able to obtain a statement from her (*****).  Her insurance never paid for the damages to the car and Catano's end up with a badly damaged car and with a high cost to repair it.  on several occasions the salesman asked her to give the Lexus key back to which she refused and even told a lady from another office that she threw the key away because she was mad at the fact that the car got picked up.  On her complaint she said that she gave the salesman (****) $5000.00 to finance the car In-House that is incorrect information she could NOT do In-House Finance from the beginning.  On different occasions she had been very disrespectful with the employes from all 3 offices and has sent different people in the office requesting information about her account.  This complaint is completely based on false statement from her.  Our request to settle this is the cost to repair the 2007 Lexus in the amount of $5800 that includes parts, labor and the making of a new key for the car. We have the right to refuse service and we no longer wish to do business with her.

       I am rejecting this response because:
      everything that catanos stated is false. i do have previous history dealing with them i purchased a honda civic 2012. i was never once late on a payment.i paid the car off completely and never received a title. I again went to them looking to purchase a car because after previously paying off a car with them they told me i was always welcome to do in house finance. they told me the bank approved me for a loan for a higher amount and that i could get a car that was a little more out of my budget plan. i did indeed get into an accident which was not a  hit and run i actually called the police myself and waited for them to arrive exchanged information with all parties . i have all of their information still and can get the police report i will work on that tomorrow morning. there was actually no alcohol involved . and the only reason i could not follow through with the insurance was because catanos wrongfully took my car and refused to tell me where it was located so the insurance could not follow through with the inspection . catanos refuses to give me my contracts for the vehicles i purchased. i have audio recordings and my insurance records . as well as i can get the police report . regardless i should have been able to get my contracts if everything was legitimate. i was not told where my vehicle was or who towed it i was not able to retrieve my property . i eventually lost my job and suffered  a great deal more because of their fraud. i had just had a newborn baby and was out about 7,000 dollars and out of a job. i can also prove my job statements and provide a phone number for my boss which i will send separately in an email because i discloses personal information . my boss was also there with me when i purchased the vehicle and is a witness. and i have many other witnesses and can provide their phone numbers for you to contact because the have went with me when i was trying to retrieve my belongings and my contract . the statements catanos has given is 100% false . and they cannot provide anything to back up there claims because its just not true . if i was not making payments on previous vehicle and if they have the police report stating i was involved in a hit and run they can provide you the documents .along with the contracts they should have on file and refuse to give me which they are lawfully required to accommodate me with. maybe they are getting confused with the hit and run i was involved with in 2020-2021 but i was the victim in that case and i have that police report as well . and i paid that car off already .please email me [email protected] and let me know of where i can send a list of eyewitnesses you can contact . and i will provide you with the police reports proving they are not being honest about that allegation . and you can call chp and check for a repo record of the car its was never reported . i want a refund of my money or am going to file small claims . i honestly should of reported the car stolen because it was not taken from me righteously . i also have in my other email account emails from **** brown telling me my job was not a real business you can look it up it most definitely is i worked at 2212 s. union at A&B trucking repair service. he also stated the owner came to my house and tried calling me which i never had any missed calls and i checked my cameras no one had been out to my house. regardless why am i being denied my money back  and  my property . the only thing on the car that was damaged was the hood and the insurance would have covered it since i had full coverage but was unable to follow through on the claim because they were not giving the location of the car. im will also contact the insurance and ask them to email you i talked to them the other day of the situation .
