On 4/4/23, Exhaust Pros entered into an agreement to have a new security system installed. ************************* came to our shop representing himself as a Brink Security representative. He wore a uniform with the Brinks name on it, and told us he was with Brinks Security. We were given a price for installation, a price for monthly service and a date for install. We were told we would have 8 cameras, with phone notification for camera activity, and we would have 90 days of stored video coverage. The system was installed as agreed upon. We were willing to enter into the 60 month contract. The problems started when we needed to retrieve video footage of a theft that occurred at our shop. We had no instruction on how to do it, but managed to look it up online. This presented another problem of replaying the footage, it would not replay on a computer. We reached out to ************************* at ************ to find out what was going on with our system. He didn't return our calls. We then reached out to Brinks Security, because that was how this company represented themselves to us. ****** had no idea who we were. We had several people say they would call us back and there has been no response. ************************* finally called us, and promised a call from corporate, but that didn't happen. We have tried to contact ************************* multiple more times with no response. We tried Brinks again, and again were told we did not have an account with them. Come to find out, B&D Security is the provider. This company is going around fraudulently claiming to be apart of Brinks Security. They also misrepresented what kind of system we would be paying for. This company is committing fraud and should be confronted with that by an organization that has the power to make something happen.
