Hello, I pumped gas on Monday, the 12th. Their pump #8 didn't have censor which cause oil spill on my car and on the floor. It also overcharged my credit card for the gas that was over spilled. The attendant name, ******* knew what happened and she even had to cleaned the oil spill on the floor after I brought it up to her attention. She told me she didn't have a manager on duty at that time and I had to call the following day. She kept a copy of my receipt to show it to the manager and I also gave her my phone number where to reach me. The next day, I called around 4:00pm and the person I talked to said the manager had already left and he advised me to call between 8:00 am to 2:00pm, but didn't get to call the following day. Today, Thursday (the 15th), I called their manager, ******** at 11:08 am. She refused to give me any refund and insisting that there no problem with all their pumps despite of *******'s knowledge about it. I attached the receipt where I was charged for $106.64, where I usually only get charged not over $70 for standard gas. My tank was still a little over a quarter full before I pumped gas at this gas station. I don't know why she had to lie. Why would the oil over spill if there was no problem with their pump? It's frustrating that she sounded like she didn't care at all. I'm hoping you can help me to bring this issue to the owner or corporate office's attention. The spill that happened was not more than a gallon. The spillage happened after her tank got full. We offered ******** 2 gallons of refund. We tried to explain what happened but she was frustrated and did not want to listen to us. After we got your letter I called her and left a message and she did not respond. So I would like to pay a $30 refund, $30 dollars is equal to 5 gallons. If we dump 5 gallons of gas it would cover 200 square feet, which is a lot.

I am rejecting this response because: The business is obviously lying because the photo submitted to BBB was when the spill has been cleaned up. The spill was more or about 6 gallons because my card was charged way more than I usually pay for fill up. It will be acceptable if the photo includes my vehicle.I just talked to Lucky J. a minute ago over the phone and telling him that part of his response was a lie. They didnt offer me 2 gallons worth of refund. They only offered a gallon which was $5.99. I refused to accept because it didnt worth my time to drive all the way to ******* for $5.99, plus I already submitted my initial complaint to BBB when his secretary called.
It just shows how dishonest this business is. They never accepted their mistakes, but they will make up another lie to cover up their lies. This is not about the money. Its about the business honesty and transparency to their customers.
They can review or submit their CCTV when the spill happened or submit the phone conversation when they called me on 9/15/222 around 11:30am to prove if theyre telling the truth. I would believe them if the photo they submitted has the image of my car because they could always clean it up before taking a photo to show of a less oil spill.
I will accept their $30 refund (gift card) if they admit their mistake.
