Situation: Good Neighbor Pharmacy***************************************************************** provided a very a very disrespectful, unethical, uncaring, rude, unhelpful, and dishonest customer service when I as a patient was in need. Background: This year I had ************ with Dr. *************. I was prescribed a medication that was needed after the result of my ********* and was taking the medication via the pharmacy I normally use (******* Pharmacy.) I recently found out that the medication was now not covered by my insurance without prior authorization from Dr.*********. On December 20, 2022, I was informed that my prescription was forwarded to Good Neighborhood Pharmacy. I called the pharmacy at 4:34pm and spoke to a female employee at Good Neighborhood Pharmacy who was completely rude from the start. I understand that prior authorization can take a few days. I asked her if it would help if I called my insurance company to help get prior authorization sooner than what could have been a week or longer due to the holidays. She informed me "you can't do anything, and nothing will help"..."you just have to wait." I'm a Registered Nurse, and for her to seem like she didn't have care in the world about me as a patient was very shocking. Assessment: I called my insurance company right after. And I was able to get what Good Neighbor Pharmacy needed to get prior authorization. My insurance company informed me that Good Neighbor Pharmacy would have not gotten authorization and I would have waited until after Christmas to be informed of the prior authorization rejection. The insurance company provided the proper pharmacy and information my doctor needed to get me the medication needed. I called Good Neighbor Pharmacy, to file a complaint on the employee who was very rude and unhelpful. I asked to speak to the manager, and his name was ******. I requested for the employee who initially helped me, he told me they don't document patient conversation.

If I could give them negative 5 stars I would. I am in *********, so that's bad enough. They lied and told me that the *** stopped allowing me to get the mixture of Estrogen that my DR has been giving me for 4 years. They said I needed to get the Dr to change it. They said that Estoril was on the banned list.My Dr changed to just Estradiol. Well it wasn't working for me at all. My Dr asked me to get the mixture they had been giving me so he can come up with something else and do the research.Drugco fought me on giving me the mixture, mind you it is not a proprietary blend. The only reason My Dr couldn't' look it up is they were part of the Palomar Hack and couldn't get into old records. I explained this and they kept saying NO. I finally said don't make me be one of those that go viral. I have a right to know what you were making and I was putting into my body, regardless of my Dr. asking. Finally they called the owner. Then another guy came up and wrote down the mix. Turns out he wrote down something that wasn't true.I switched to another pharmacy, and guess what Estoril is NOT banned. That pharmacy even sent me the *** Banned list and Tuesday of next week I will have WHAT WAS WORKING for me. From the new Pharmacy: The percentage of the Biest 2.5mg Drugco told you was wrong. You can't mix it the way they told you. You have two choices. I called the Dr. as their computers are back up and It's 80% Estriol-2mg and 20% Estradiol-0.5mg. I will have them ready on Tuesday for you. They put my health at risk, for what? Not enough profit. You lied to me about it being banned and then lied about the %'s Heck my benefits don't even pay for this. I pay out of pocket and it is not cheap. I will yell at the top of my lungs at how wrong this was to do to someone. Those that suffer from Menopause can understand. BAD BUSINESS. They own other shops so i recommend you don't do business with ANY OF THEM. AKA Good Neighbor Pharmacy Shame on you for putting my health in danger.
