We were frauded by this company. They sent us a mailer piece about applying for a home mortgage modification program. The mail piece a said they could reduce or mortgage to a $749.83 payment (that would be very nice as we were paying $1,360 per month). We started by signing an agreement and then sent them ALL of our information. They said that if we could pay them a $1,000 payment for 5 months in a row that that would be our new mortgage payment. Well 2 months into the program our lender started to get nasty with no payment. We actually alked with this company on a regular basis and then signed Federal form "Making Home Afforadable Program". We ended up paying 4 $1,000 payments to them ($4,000) an unitl the lender finally filled for foreclosure. The lender then called us a said they were refusing to honoe the loan modification of this company and would proceed with foreclosure prcess to **** our home at auction. We spent $4,000 for a service that would never have been successful in modifying our mortgage. We want our money back as now we owe the lender $7,000 back paymnets plus $500 for their attorney.********Review from Lorrie M

If I could give this company a zero star rating I would! Would highly recommend not using the company go through your mortgage company. They take advantage of people when times are hard then try and fish their way out of it. We supposedly talked to a manager. He said he would be emailing my husband proof where he signed saying the money sent for their 6 month program went to them, not our mortgage company that was said to us at the beginning. We still have not received anything from them when asked for a refund. We didnt sign said form.We were told at the beginning that it would be a loan modification. It was going to lower the interest rate of our mortgage. After the 6 month program they keep your money and push the amount owed to your mortgage company to the end of your note. We were told it does not cost anything as they are a government funded program! We paid $1700.00 to the them for 6 months that could have went to our mortgage. Spoke to our mortgage company and an attorney. What they are doing is not right!

************** our company and consultants thoroughly explained the program and our services to you and your husband numerous times, we also had Adobe Sign (3rd party) email you a copy of the agreement as you instructed and requested, we asked you to check you spam and firewall settings where perhaps the copy of the agreement may have been.
As you have stated in your own words; you did receive and offer from the servicer and the delinquent amount and your penalties were waived and/or resolved. We delivered based on the contractual agreement and guidelines provided to you. We also stated from the start to you and in our agreement we are not the mortgage affiliate, nor are we any gov't agency. You paid us for delivering a service and you have received the service in full.
Please read the contract and agreement and as we mentioned to you and your husband, we are happy to assist in any resubmission, or attempt to apply for any other programs that are available to you.

I have been working with 1st choice for the past 4 months and today I recieved an approval and my file is complete. I am happy I found them and they helped me out every step of the way.

I would like to put no stars, but it won't let me. All's this company does is take your money. They don't do anything for you, they just ask and ask and ask for more money and ALL of your personal information. They were supposed to "help me refinance my mortgage at a lower rate" and that never happened even after six months. I paid this company almost $7000 over the course of six months and they did absolutely nothing for me. After six months of paying them $1250 a month, they had the audacity to try to collect $275 a month until the situation was "resolved". But, how can the situation ever get resolved when they don't do anything? They literally did not call me, text me, e-mail me or contact me in any way, shape or form in the entire six months!!!!! The only time I ever heard from them was when they wanted more money and more documentation, even though I had provided them with the same documents numerous times. Another shady thing they did was requested that I "leave the memo" portion of my check blank. What's up with that?First Choice Gateway Consulting Response

Mr. ******* one of the managers in the office has tried calling you and followed up with an email to discuss your request to cancel services and offer you a partial refund, however you stated you did not have time to talk and hung up before any of your concerns can be addressed.
