              We booked a stay at the lodge back in December 12/19/22-12/21/22 on ******.com. Received an email 2 days later saying that there was an issue with our credit card info and to call the hotel. Rather than hassle with this reservation, we just booked another hotel. No confirmation email was ever received for our reservation. I checked my bank statements a few days later and saw that this place had charged us for the entire stay that we never had. After calling the lodge we were told that that credit card info error email was sent by ******.com and not them so they were not responsible. The employees and manger we spoke to disregarded our side of the story and did not accommodate us at all. It seemed like they were only intent on trying to justify billing me for a stay we never had based on an erroneous reservation.

              I'm absolutely traumatized from my experience! This place is run by people who are dangerous. The owner pounded on me and my girlfriends room door and intimated and threatened us for having a speaker on listening to some tunes while enjoying our spa tub. Then in the morning they waited outside my door until I was packed and leaving. Most scary intimidating experience of my life. Legit scared for my life! The rooms are run down and dirty!

              I have owned this lodge for 46 years and I have never had a guest report an exaggerated lie like this and a total denial of wrong doing on their part. We had 3 sheriffs deputies come to the lodge to quiet them down at midnight, the entire building could listen to their music. I have a check out time of 11 am and you did not leave until 1:30 after we asked you to leave, grow up.
