Thank you very much for contacting your platform and hope to get your help. My English is not good. If there is a grammatical error, I hope to be forgiven. I want to complain to a truck repair company whose name is "ASAP TRUCK&TRAILER REPAIR INC". The address is located at ***** ****** VISTA DR., ******, CA *****. The store has fraudulent consumers and forced consumption. On December 3, 2021. I called the store’s google phone ###-###-#### and asked if I could fix the triler leak on my truck and the price. I arrived on time within the time the store responded to the appointment on the same day. When I entered the store, I asked about the repair price again, and the store said that I needed to check it first. About 30 minutes later, I replied: I’m too late today, I have to come back the next day, and I need to pay a check-up fee of US$476. And for the next day's maintenance, you need to pay for labor and accessories. Before that, no one told me. The shop inspection is costly and so expensive. What is the problem with my truck? The store did not reply either. I think this is unreasonable, and I refuse to pay the fee. But the store replied strongly: If you don't pay, you can't drive my truck. It was late in the evening, and I had to pay $476 with a credit card. I think I may have encountered a scam shop and I am very frustrated. My friend suggested that I go to a chain TA to repair the truck. The next day, at TA TRUCK SERVICE, I only spent 315 US dollars to complete the entire cost of the inspection and maintenance. So I think there must be a problem with the store ASAP TRUCK&TRAILER REPAIR INC. I hope the platform can help me coordinate and refund unreasonable mandatory fees. Please also the platform can supervise the irregular behavior of the store to avoid the loss of more consumers.

      Business response

First, I would like to extend our apologies to **********, for not being completely satisfied with our services, here
at ASAP Truck & Trailer Repair as we pride ourselves in providing the best customer service possible. Second,
we were unaware of this complaint as the Better Business Bureau never contacted anyone from ASAP Truck &
Trailer Repair regarding this case by phone or email. We found out as a customer informed us we have an F
rating, at that point we contacted the BBB and opened an account to further keep an eye on our account going
forward. Attached is a copy of the repair order invoice# ****.
After reading ************ complaint that was submitted to your office I strongly disagree with the statements
provided by ********** for the following reasons. ************ complaint states ASAP Truck & Trailer Repair is
fraudulent and has forced consumption and was never informed of our prices. ASAP Truck & Trailer Repair is
by no means fraudulent. ASAP Truck & Trailer Repairs procedures and protocols are for all services to be
approved by customers before any repairs or diagnostics are performed on any vehicle. After reviewing Mr.
**** invoice# **** in the amount of $476.00 ASAP Truck & Trailer Repairs service advisor advised **********
over the phone the rates for after hour services before ********** arrived to ASAP Truck & Trailer Repairs
facility. ********** arrived after 6:30 pm to check an air leak on his trailer# ****. All vehicles taken in after 5 pm
Monday through Friday are considered after hour repairs, therefore ASAP Truck & Trailer Repair charges a 2
hour minimum plus an after hour fee of $145.00. ASAP Truck & Trailer Repair assigns mechanics per vehicle
after 5 pm which allows the driver to have little to no waiting time. After performing the air leak inspection on
the trailer, ********** was made aware the brake valve was leaking and needed to be replaced and that the brake
chamber hoses were leaking as well. ********** then informed ASAP Truck & Trailer Repair that he did not have
the time to complete the repairs. ********** mentions our services are expensive and unreasonable. ********* had
the option not to come to our facility after the rates were given over the phone. Our after hour services are
considered a specialty service that we provide here at ASAP Truck & Trailer Repair and all rates are different
from regular business hour rates. Although ********** declined services for the replacement of the brake valve,
ASAP Truck & Trailer Repairs mechanic kindly removed and resealed the brake chamber hoses to stop the
leaking at no charge. ********** demanded ASAP Truck & Trailer Repair to release the vehicle, however payment
needed to be given for the services provided. We require payment for services rendered before releasing any
vehicle as this is standard procedure. ********** also mentioned the next day that he went to another truck repair
shop and the cost was less than what we had charged. If ********** had come to us during normal business hours,
the rates would have been different as well. ASAP Truck & Trailer Repair is not unreasonable nor performs any
      irregular behavior how ********** expressed.
