      09 Jan 2022 I am an 80% disabled combat veteran but I am not filing this as a disability complaint. But, my team and I may be getting recalled to the ************* Army due to the ***** epidemic. We are having a lot of issues with our accounts / card due to operational security. I had to remove my SIM card from my personal cell 1 month ago and I can only us my ** MIlitary phone for official business. I went to Macallans (01.05.2022) and immediately everyone was extremely rude. I kept to myself because I was studying for the CA Litigation Bar exam. My server was very rude ******* but she left about 15 minutes after I sat down. So when it came time to pay I was having issues with my Navy Federal card but I told them that I was trying everything I could. The bartender was being extremely aggressive and demanding a tip for him and his girlfriend who also works there. I was becoming extremely uncomfortable so I went to the cigar lounge that is also a part of MacCallum's. The young ***** female ******** was extremely polite and understanding. There were several customers in the cigar lounge. So this little male bartender comes blowing in yelling obscenities at myself and the very kind ***** female bartender. This is completely out of line and I left because I am not going to spend the night in jail over this guy. It takes a real man to scream obscenities to a female half your size. So since then the owner (****) has been threatening to call ******* AND take the cost of my meal out of ******* wages. I am finishing law school and I can tell you that is HIGHLY Illegal to even make that threat. I have contacted **** and gave ***** $64 dollars cash. I just have to wait a few hours and I can access more funds through the **** ATM which is down the street from my house. Thank you for your time. **** *************************

      We are aware of this patron, he is not physically disabled at all (perhaps his disability is mental).  He was calm and seemed nice and complimented his server several times.  When he attempted to pay his **** he provide a credit card that was cut in half and taped back together, and the card was declined.  We received a fraud alert from our merchant.  When he was told his credit card was declined he went into a rant about how his funds are frozen, etc., and he became hostile.  I viewed the videos rom our security camera, and at no time did the bartender or server demand any tip, rather, did just the opposite, and said we need to collect payment, offering a military discount, and letting him know that no tip is necessary.  His total **** was $124.  He left without paying, and returned 2 days later and paid $64 in cash.  We accepted that as full payment, and excused the balance. He was hostile and incoherent for most of his verbal interactions with our staff.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
