Should never have joined!! Dont do it! Unless you want to pay $40 EACH for 5 movies in order to get out of the **** agreement! Thats $200. And $40 is what I have ended up paying each time I forgot to skip the stupid featured title so I am about $120 in and still have 2 movies to go before I can leave. And yet in order to pay my way out its still over $100. This is ridiculous. I WANT OUT. Yes its spelled out in the agreement what you are committing to. But what is NOT clear is which movies you can buy that will get you out of the commitment other than the featured title which are ALL over $35 each. And supposedly the ones over $19.95 are supposed to count but thats definitely not the case from what Ive seen. I dont understand the shadiness nor the price gouging of these movies and tv shows when they stream on Disney+ and you can also buy them brand new from other places for a fraction of the price. I thought this would be great for our family at the time because we watched more dvds than streaming. Not the case anymore and yet theres no way to opt out unless I spend a ridiculous amount of money. I am fed up and I am not recommending this to anyone and warning everyone I know not to do this.

I never signed up for the service. I have emailed the DMC support emails multiple times letting them know that I never signed up and wish for the account to be closed. They tell me I must call them and talk with them to complete the closure. I cannot understand why an email doesnt suffice. A reputable business would respond to the request via email and fulfill the request, recognizing that the email address matches that of this supposed account. Its been months and months of regular emails about fake orders, credit card declines (because the scammer who set this up initially used an expired card), and refusal to close the account per my request. Im so very frustrated. Are they allowed to keep sending me emails even though I have asked them to close this account?

Disney has a program called VAU that automatically updated my financial information to them without my acknowledgement, after I had to replace my debit card that I had lost, I didn't give Disney movie club my new information. Is this legal.

Total scam. Subscription to Disney Plus gives you unlimited access. If you want to own the movies you can buy them on Amazon for approx 7-$16 per film vs the ***** per dvd

For the past 4 months every video I have declined is sent to me. I have to call and ask for a pre paid address label to be sent to me which takes 2 weeks. Then it takes 4 weeks for it to get credited back to my account. In the mean time I am charged late fees because I have an outstanding balance because I was sent a movie that I declined. The late fees are usually adjusted after I call 2 or 3 times and complain. It is my credit score they are messing up but they don't care. This company is a scam and you can get the movies cheaper at ******* or Amazon.

Absolute garbage. Every movie is price gouged and they pull you in with a great 4-for-$1 movie deal then commit you to five movies at regular price. If you try to cancel before commitment is met, they charge you regular site price for the promotional 4 movies you got for $1. The regular price is 50% more expensive than other stores. I paid to get out of my commitment. Shop on Amazon or Best Buy instead.

****, what I have done for you is sent you a pre-paid mailing label. You should receive that about the same time you receive your initial order. Do not open your order, just place the label on the top of the package and drop it back into the mail. This will get it back to us with no cost to you. Currently dredging through this underhanded offering from Disney. I was aware the "commitment" existed. I understood the 4 for a $1 hook. What I didn't know was nothing on the website indicates which movies are eligible for me to fulfill the commitment of buying 5 at the regular price. The selection of regular price movies is nowhere to be found nor is it marked on the page of any movie I open. Even those that are above the "$19.95" threshold, apparently do not count if they are discounted in any way. That seems very scam like to me. I am fine with fulfilling the commitment I agreed to but I cannot find any movies that meet the unclear requirements of it. That is a bait and switch. Where is the option to sort the movies by regular price so I can fulfill the terms of the original agreement I made? Why make it so difficult to find them? I am not having a good experience with Disney Movie Club and feel the entire thing is setup to confuse and misdirect me into buying dvds I would not normally buy. Considering there are retailers that simply put these same movies on offer for a price and I decide what I want to buy, I really do not understand the reasoning behind Disney Movie Club doing business in such a shady, underhanded way. It is shameful and a seriously ugly blemish on the reputation of a household name that should do much better for it's fans.Shame on you Disney.
