What did my 12 grade pay for?? All they did was ask for paperwork to be emailed to them.
I don't even know if they asked for anything from the opposing side. They never told me anything.
I won't go into all the details but....
Teresa a lawyer at Fusco and Clark ( although I have never met this woman in person and with COVID I felt that this is the new way fo doing things .
She does everything through emails and a paralegal) told me that I should have no problem with my case and if the other party wanted to take it to to court that she would ask for that party to have to pay court fees. Well, that story changed fast.
But this is where my major concerns lie:
I had emailed them NUMEROUS documents. Everything that they asked for. The paralegal ( I believe her name is Crystal) would tell me that she never received the documents . I told her that I sent them and she insisted she didn't get them ,
So I would re-send them.
Then she had parts of my story wrong.. That was really a concern,
I said ..Noooo, that's not how it happened. She would say, well that's how I have it ! But if she read the numerous emails I sent she would know she had it all wrong!
I had proof of the emails I sent so how can she claim that I am incorrect?)
I wanted the lawyer to use the numerous witnesses I provided for my case. I wanted her to present these witnesses names to the other side. They just would talk around it.
The paralegal told me Teresa would call me on Monday the 20th of Sept. They never called.
I called three times the week . Teresa never returned my call. My court date was Sept 29th . Now I am really concerned.
I finally emailed her and asked her to call me. Again, she never called me.
An attorney that wasn't assigned to my case called me on Sept 28th, the day before court to tell me basically that I had no case etc etc. I got nervous because she had me convinced I had no case so I pulled out because I had no time to even think about anything as the next day was court.
I now know that I should have fired this attorney and went with someone else.
I called again about a week after the cancelled court date because they have paperwork that I need back and was told they would return to me.
Again I left a message for Teresa. Again , Teresa never called me back. It was the same attorney that called me the day before the court date. I was finally Abel to say what I wanted to say because now I had time to think about it . But what good is it.
I don't know if the opposing lawyer intimidated Teresa. I don't know anything about Teresa.
I don't know anything except that I was ripped off .
How as a Professional Attorney do you you not e even have the consideration to call your client back that just paid you 12 grand?
So disgusting and so unethical. I'm going to see if I can report them the the Bar.
