Date of transaction: January 15th, 2019, to present. Amount paid to business: ******** US Tax Shield told me that my *** balances would "fall off" as of 2023 and the last one would have been this current year, 2024. They are uninterested in helping me solve the problem.I used this service because I was told they could resolve my tax issues. Not only are my tax issues NOT resolved, but they lied about what they told me would happen. I also have a letter from them stating that my balances with the *** would be gone by now. It is signed by ************.

We are sorry to hear of **************** opinion regarding our services. We respectfully disagree that ************** hired us in 2019. ************* contracted US Tax Shield to represent her regarding her outstanding tax liabilities in September 2016. We had finalized a successful resolution plan with the *** based on services we were rendered back in January 2019; which due to confidentiality matters, we are unable to disclose any details of the resolution.

************** contacted us back in 2020 and 2022 and spoke with our representatives regarding details of her resolution plan. We are surprised to receive this complaint since ************** contacted us in April 2024 discussing details of her resolution once again with one of our representatives. Upon receiving this review, our ************* representatives tried to reach out to her, however our attempts to reach her have been unsuccessful.

At US Tax Shield we do care about our clients even after a resolution is reached. We are always available for any additional questions or help. Our ************* representatives will continue to try to reach ************** and we are hopeful to be able to resolve her concerns.

In 2019 I retained US Tax Shield to help me negotiate previous years tax debts. The cost of the service was $3000 dollars and would have to be paid in full before any services were rendered. I paid the $3000 over the next couple of months. The company then sent me paper work asking for my wife and I current income and assists. I completed said paperwork and sent it back. I followed up with them regarding an update to which they told me they had not received the paperwork. I sent it to them again and again was told they did not receive it. This went on for a couple of years without resolution. Finally, a US Tax Shield **** ********************* called me to discuss options and further procedures. He asked if I thought we would continue to owe the *** and if so, suggested we wait until to get an update on the total amount of debt. I was also assigned a new point of contact that I regularly communicated with. Because of certain situations my wife and I failed to file 2020 and 2021 taxes. I followed up with US Tax ****** regarding the situation and again was forwarded back to *************************. ************* suggested that US Tax Shield file our delinquent taxes, before any negotiations, and wait for the total amount of tax debt before negotiating any settlement. My wife and I took his advise and paid the company an additional $3000. My wife and I received an email weeks later with our 2020 and 2021 taxes completed. Never spoke to an accountant and had to submit our taxes and though we paid US Tax Shield $3000 to complete and file our taxes. We received a follow up from the ***, after filing our most recent taxes, advising us the 2021 taxes were wrong. My wife and I were in dire moments and decided to file chapter 13 which includes negotiated amounts for current and past tax debt. I followed up with ************************* and advised him of our current course of action and requested a refund of the original $3000. He acknowledged and forwarded me to customer care. To date no follow up.

We are sorry to hear of Mr. ******* concerns regarding our services and communications with us. We respectfully disagree that **************** hired ** in 2019. **************** contracted US Tax Shield to represent him regarding resolution of his outstanding tax liabilities in July of 2020. During the process of working the case, **************** hired us for tax preparation services for unfiled tax returns and also representation for additional tax liabilities in August of 2022. Our Resolution team; the attorney and the case manager, immediately contacted the *** as well as contacting **************** and his wife discussing the process and requesting information. Our tax preparation department as well were in communication with Mr. and *****************. Tax returns were prepared based on the information provided and to date, we are not aware of any issues regarding the tax returns. Upon receiving information from *****************, we prepared the necessary financial forms for the resolution negotiation process. Due to confidentiality of our clients cases, we are unable to disclose any additional details in response. While waiting for the signed updated financial forms requested from Mr. and ***************** originally back in September of 2021, we were notified by **************** possibility of divorce and bankruptcy in March of 2023. Upon detail conversation with ****************, he needed to speak with his bankruptcy attorney and contact us to discuss the next steps. **************** had been non-responsive providing us a final response until June 20, 2023 requesting for a refund and cancellation of the services. Upon receiving **************** request, our ******** care department representatives contacted **************** via phone and also via email confirming receipt of his request explaining that we are reviewing the detail of the case to be able to finalize his refund request. Unfortunately, **************** decided to move forward with this complaint the next day.
At US Tax Shield we care for our clients concerns and appreciate their feedback. And we want nothing more than to resolve this matter and are happy to work with **************** to finalize a resolution or to finalize a refund for the portion of the services he is not willing to move forward. Our ******** Care representatives will continue to be in contact with **************** and we are hopeful to resolve his concerns.
