After completing the application, I was only offered $8,500, which is a significant and misleading discrepancy. This bait-and-switch tactic is unethical and potentially illegal, pressuring individuals to risk their valuable assets for a significantly lower amount than promised.During a call with Aven Financial, they repeatedly asserted the $8,500 offer without addressing my concerns. I am seeking the intervention of the Better Business Bureau to address this unethical business practice. Aven Financial is effectively offering a credit line of $8,500 while demanding the security of my home valued at $484,000. This is akin to giving a bone to a dog in exchange for something of immense value. Such unethical practices and false advertising should be punished, and the company should be banned from conducting business in this manner. The initial pre-approval for $50,000, followed by an approval for only $8,500, constitutes false advertising and malpractices that need urgent attention. I request the Better Business Bureau to take appropriate and strict action so that people do not lose their houses for a $5,000 to $10,000 bribe or bone."
