I was charged $636.41 for some unknown damages on a Recreational Vehicle (RV) that I rented on a trip from Aug.5-Aug.9, 2023. This was through the rental company RVShare. When I rented, there was a $500 deposit for such damages through Digisure. However, I was charged an additional $136.41 for unspecified damages. None of the damages have been specified. The claims adjusting agent, Channel ****** **************************************** will not reply to emails.Business response

For some general insight, it is not our practice to send the owner's estimate of repair to the counterparty, being the renter in this case. Per our claim file notes, the adjuster reached out on August 11th when the claim was initially filed and again when the claim was closed. We realize more consistent communication throughout the process wouldve been preferred and will take that into account moving forward. Bad faith insurance Digisure attempt s in many occasion to renege on its obligations to its clients by refusing to pay owner's legitimate claim by damage caused by ****** under RVSHARE contract. I am one of the victim that suffered monetary loss because of this company fraudulent act. I rent my RV under RVSHARE that has a contract with digisure to handle insurance claim. However, in my case the renter paid a premium of 700 to cover RV rental for 12 days and was involved on an accident during his rental period , file a claim and they make him pay a deductible of 1000$ a total of 1700$. However, for almost a month, company was unresponsive and they were trying to get away assuming it is okay to collect premium and deductible and to honor its obligation for paying for the damage. I checked the review online and this company has like a 1 star reviews on ****** and BBB.com which meant I am not the only victim of the fraudulent practice. We are kindly requesting an investigation against this company to protect citizen from the unethical practice of this company.Business response

Digisure is a scam business like most insurance companies. They treat their customers like garbage and lack common sense and deceny. I rented an ** through **Share that was insured by DigiSure. The ** rental was stationary (i.e. owner dropped it off, set up at location, and the ** wasn't moved from there until the owner came back to pick it up). After the ** was picked up by the owner and driven back home he claimed damage due to high winds. Digisure now claims $500 from my security deposit for damage I did not cause and was no fault of my own and wasn't proven to have occured during my rental.Business response

On July 5th I applied for an extended test ride on a Motorcycle from a dealership in *********, ******. The dealership uses Twisted Road for this purpose. I received a response from Twisted Road that " You have not met the minimum requirements of our third-party insurance carrier to rent due to not meeting the minimum requirements to ride."I sent a note to Twisted Road asking why I was denied and they told me that they couldn't tell me. I then received an email from Twisted Road that their Insurance Carrier would reach out to me with details.The carrier, DigiSure sent me an email "Before you can start your trip, we need to verify additional details to approve your rental for insurance".I called DigiSure as instructed, and was told they sent the wrong form and someone would send me the correct form with information.My next DigiSure email said"In evaluating your membership application, the consumer reporting agency listed below provided us with information that in whole or in part influenced our decision. The consumer reporting agency took no part in our decision and is unable to supply the specific reasons why we were unable to approve your request"There was no consumer reporting agency listed on the email.When I called again, they told me that there was nothing that they could do.I'm very disappointed in this and feel that I have been lied to. All of the correspondence that I have had with both of these companies have made statements that turned out to be misleading and false.I have a pristine driving and riding history, a motorcycle endorsement for ******************************** the last five years, excellent credit, excellent insurance history and no criminal background. In an attempt to rent an RV from RV Share or Go ***, both times my verification failed immediately with no cause. Digisure reps cannot provide a reason due to "privacy issues" despite being the organization that searches your records. I've asked twice now for a record showing the reason for my rejection, to no avail. I have a nearly pristine driving record for which I paid for my own records to verify (of my own volition), have excellent credit, and am FFL cleared as well as *** background check cleared for a CHL. I can find no reason why I can't rent. This company makes decisions without informing consumers who have no recourse to fix anything. Shady and sketchy at best.Business response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference tocomplaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is mostly satisfactory to me.I appreciate the overturning of the decision, but I still have not been provided with the Consumer Report upon which the original decision was made. I would also suggest the business verify the logic used in the automations for these decisions. AI and Machine learning is only as smart as the rules it's given. This shouldn't need to happen.

GIG is a car share company. I applied for membership and apparently they do a background check with Digisure. Membership was denied because digisure reported i have a bad credit. I have an excellent credit report from FICO. They changed their report and said i have a dui in my driving record. The dui is from way back in 2014. I believe dmv is the one need to worry about the driving record. It's just a n unjust decision and no logic behind their decision.Initial Complaint

This agency took money out of my bank account without any authorization and have no supporting documents to support their claim. They accepted a falls collision claim, knowingly, so that they may profiteer. I have multiple email communications to prove all of this. Here are some of their lies:"There was some damage on the texture part of the ** bumper and some damages to some of the texture parts to the **.Per the appraiser there is minor damage to the texture parts.**share gathers vehicle accident information and forwards it to us.It appears you were in a loss. If you were at fault for this loss, a deductible would be applied. Deductible can be $1500.00 I'm reading in the file that you were involved in a traffic collision and the owner of the other car is using their own insurance and will be coming to us for a subrogation suit.Are you aware of this?Not per the owner of the renter.Leaving the scene of an accident is very serious.Did anyone else drive the unit during your rental period?We can't know for sure but this can support abrasions and dents. We can't be sure how, but clearly they are not there in the pre departure photos.No one has stated that you have any liability here to this point."I gave them the opportunity to return the money and I have been getting conflicting information and so I have no recourse. I am rejecting this response because:While I appreciate your sentiment that you are new and now getting to things, you are not addressing the fact that the claim was fraudulent and **** dollars were taken from me based on an owner who has a history of making false claims. No adjustor showed ** in person, the photos submitted were false and also this owner has a history of making multiple claims. What he stated was completely false and no interview was done of me either.
